Great actting but not my cup of tea. You can really tell it's based on a play because of the rambling dialogue. The characters are beautifully developed. Although not really loving this film, I still feel Denzel was fully worthy of an Oscar.

Denzel Washington and Viola Davis truly performed their roles in this movie phenomenally. Truly did enjoy this movie. Family oriented -- which I truly enjoyed.

Having seen the play in New York and meeting Mr. August Wilson, I feel Mr. Denzel Washington did an extremely good job without losing a lot of the stage work.

With Denzel & Viola, what else would you expect. This picture was great in every aspect. Plus it gave a history lesson that is not mention in the mainstream.

Denzel and Viola are great actors! "Fences" keep things in and keep things out. Both reasons can be for protection. A lot of life lessons in this movie.

A reminder of what life was like for some people during that time period. Some families are still experience some of the same difficulties and joys.

As usual a great performance by Danzel, and Viola Davis. Families dealing with the struggles every day life in late 50's or early 60's in America.

Fences starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis is a cinematic masterpiece. The blu-ray version of the film really adds to the viewing experience.

I love Denzel and Viola they are great actors. The movie was good. The picture on Blue Ray is excellent. I just got a second one for my bedroom.

I love a good Denzel Washington movie and this is a great one! Such a good plot to the movie and no slow spots, enjoyed watching this!
