Versatile and replaces our meat grinder and food processor.

I bought this attachment to make thy own ground meats. It is easy to attach to the Kitchen Aid mixer grinder. I had a small boneless center cut pork steak and I needed only 3/4lb. to make Mu Shu Pork. What is nice is that you are able to control how much fat you want in your ground meats by adding only as much as you want. Even though it is plastic, the metal cutting disk is strong and does the job. I don't know why I waited so long to purchase this attachment.

Easy to use, and functions well with KitchenAid stand mixer

We bought this to use with the KitchenAid Profession 500 series mixer. After looking over the mixer we disliked the fact that the bowl had to be tipped considerably to remove it from the mixer while the beater was on, or the beater had to be removed first, which is not convenient to do when the bowl is on. So... we returned both pieces.

I love it when you just attach it to the mixer and you have meat grinder.
