I had a commercial grinder but took a lot of space for its eventual use. Is more convenient to keep the grinder head in a little box and attach it to the mixer when needed.

Why wonder what is in the ground meats you get at the store? Grind your own and save yourself money AND the guesswork. This is really simple to use and clean. Highly recommended!

Easy to attach and run (dont use with the mini, doesn't have enough power to run attachment). The only issue is you can't use fatty meats otherwise it gets caught in the holes.

It works well with my machine, easy attach to as instructed. Read instruction as cleaning. Just make sure clean well inside. There are two sizes of grinders inside.

Grinds meats pretty easy even with the mini mixer. Making steak burgers has never been easier. Making sausage or just grinding meat together is no problem.

This is a good purchase if you use lots of ground meats like I do. I used this for making meat balls, patties, etc...nice gadget in kitchen.

The attachment works great. Find good sales on meat and grind my own hamburger and make my own sausage. I can make the burgers as lean as I want.

I don't like the new plunger/wrench combination. It seems food sticks to this tool worse than the old wooden plunger. I bought this to replace one I already had; the housing had cracked from too much pasta dough processing through it. For a while I used a large hose clamp to keep the crack from spreading, but eventually it became too much of a hassle to keep the clamp clean. So, other than it being plastic, and the change of the plunger, I use this A LOT, and it fares pretty well. Certainly not as good as a metal one, but it works for my needs at a reasonable price.

We did not have high expectations for this grinder as it is inexpensive and mostly plastic, but it has worked well. We use it to make hamburger blends from various cuts.

Wonderful grinder, very quick attachment. This is a very good addition to my kitchen. A lovely workhorse.

We bought this to grind meat for sausages mostly and while it does work it's not the greatest, it surely wouldn't compair with a real meat grinder. It only has 2 sizes and both are on the small size and the plastic that it's made for pushing the meat in is very bad, meat gets stuck in it, it should have been all a solid piece so we had to improvise and find something else around the house to use.

It's and attachment with attachments. Packaged in recyclable materials. Sturdy and made to store both blades without issue. Easy to use. Only complaint is the only color option is white.

Attachment works great and is easy to use. Grinds meat and vegetable as easily with no mess and easy cleanup .

Although this is the only color, it is just an attachment that I am not going to constantly use. I am really happy with the price, shipping time, and the quality of the product.

the Kitchenaid attachments really make the whole thing worth the purchase. allows you to save space instead of having a ton of devices for the kitchen.

This food grinder attachment is very useful and work really good eapecialy with meat.. Great price for the quality..

Best Mixer I have ever had. I always wanted one of the these stand mixers ever since I first saw one. I use it ever day. Make homemade pasta at least 2x a week. Love it.
