Not a huge step up from Fifa 15

The thing with Fifa is you always need the newest version, because that's what everyone is playing online. Unfortunately, the series hasn't seen significant improvements in the last few versions. Fifa 16 has slightly more realistic passing and skill moves, at the cost of a fun gameplay. The players are often more difficult to control and less responsive. Honestly, the menus and soundtrack are the biggest changes, and they do look/sound nicer.

FIFA just got pretty... Hard.

This FIFA is the prettiest and most intelligent of them all. But it is not the most fun. If you're used to FIFA 15's control scheme, coming into this new iteration assuming that you're playing the same old-same old, well, you'd be dead wrong. Movement is a LOT more handicapped. The fluidity of your controlled player is, almost handicapped in a way that it's more "simulation" like and not "arcade" like some prior games. Be warned.
