The focus on speed, especially in FUT, has been an issue for years. The hope was that a system like the PS5 would allow for more realistic programming on the defensive end, but it seems that opportunity was missed. It remains a cash cow for EA and there isn't much reason to make any changes. Just accept your playing a game that is built on micro transactions
