Well this game has a very different system just like it's been the case with the last FFs. From what I've played so far I can say that it's a fun game and I really like it the fact that you can use your fourteen characters, very fun and very customizable. Great game!

Good game, with bad controls and a bad camera. Good port.

Pre-ordered this mostly for the final fantasy xv demo. I've played only the first three chapters of the game so this is an early impression. You can definitely tell that this was made for a portable system. Graphics could be better but I realize that this is a port. The plot is a little confusing, may have to take time to sit thru and hear it again. The multitude of characters to use is awesome and unique.

The action is fast paced, combos are intuitive. The story is different but different good. Can be a pain leveling up all those characters but is needed due to their different skills and movements. Missions vary from straight beat em up to a strategic game where placement and planning matter like the conquest missions. Definitely a great game and though i got it for the demo i kept it for the game play.

After this I don't think I'll buy another FF game. After being disappointed with FF13 and all its side games and now this game, I am done. The graphics are not great--serviceable, but most importantly, the gameplay was not fun to me. The characters seem generic (which is not good for an RPG) and the camera is a headache.

Bought it for the FF15 demo, but the base game is also quite good. Excellent combat.

This game feels like a mix between FF8 and FF13. The interesting thing is that it plays like a real time action JRPG (think Crisis Core). Although this game was originally for the PSP , it was remastered to look and feel more like a modern game.

Before you make any judgement about the game graphic, keep in mind, this game was originally made for PSP only and it was in 2011. Game features rich content with various type of side quests (though if you want to complete all of them you have to play a second walkthrough), and in later content there are very challenging dungeors you can explore, with great hidden treasures (mostly super powerful accessories) waiting for you. Each of the 14 playable characters has their own unique skills with different way to play as, Here I have some recommendation: try use eight and jack, they might be a little hard to get use to (especially jack), but once you know hot to use them with a few skills unlocked, they will become very handy. See those big lv99 gorilla thing walking around world map? Use eight on lv20 you can kill them without taking damage.

You can tell it wasnt made originally on PS4. They tried to spoof up the graphics a little but you can definately tell it was a Vita original. That said it isnt a bad game. Simple time passer, character and story development is a ok. Customization is there as well as a variety of characters. Missions get old and sometimes hard to figure out because the map layout was not helpful.
