Gritty tone and fast paced action, but occasionally clunky controls. Overall a great game and a nice change of pace for Final Fantasy.

I own all the Final Fantasy Games out for the PS so of course i had to buy this one. It's different than the others but in a good way.

been a final fantasy fan for a while and this game is great. able to use numerous characters and its own special abilities. however, this game was originally made for the PS Vita so it really isn't up to par with real PS4 games.

I never played the original Type-0 so when it came out on PS4 I decided to give it a shot. I am not disappointed. Check it out!

Anyone who likes final fantasy will love this game. The combat alone makes this worth the purchase. Plus it comes with a FFXV demo.

This game is amazing, no matter what the naysayers have to say about the graphics. It's enthralling, and I just can't put it down!

To be honest I only purchased this to have a chance at playing the demo included with the game. This however does not change the fact the game inclided is a decent rpg. Pick it up if you usually like these kinds of things.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a remake of a PSP game that plays a bit differently from most main series FF games. You are a cadet in a military academy and undergo various missions in support of your kingdom. The gameplay is fairly standard action-RPG, with a very wide selection of playable characters. For a budget price, the game will provide hours of entertainment, however do keep in mind that it is a port of a PSP game, and as such doesn't have the normal polish of a modern PS4 game.

The battle system is a lot of fun! Maintaining 12 (i think 12) characters at the same time is a very unique and entertaining experience, albeit occasionally cumbersome. While the battle system and leveling system are fun, the voice acting and story line fall short of making this game a must-play. There are plenty of cringe-worthy lines uttered from characters that really have no weight or connection to the plot, which is a mess in and of itself. If you go into this knowing not to expect the high caliber of story telling that generally comes with Final Fantasy, you can have an enjoyable, but forgettable, time playing this game.

Fun Game - Camera is a bit wonky but besides that, the game is fun. A little underwhelming compared to previous FF games.

Final Fantasy Type-0 is a different kind of Final Fantasy game. It is similar to Final Fantasy 7 Crisis core but just as fun.

I've played the game for a short while, when I'm not busy and I love it, traditional FF battle style with extra features!

The story line is fine and the characters are even decently thought out (for a game that hardly uses them) it drops you into the game with 12 unique fighting styles at your disposal but give you no introductions to any of them. That doesnt seem so bad until you look at the level up set up. There are a few common upgrades but most are also unique and it doesnt even tell you whether the upgrade your picking is passive or active before you spend your points. The game over all is fun to play but you had better be willing to invest some time into understanding each character otherwise you will not get very far

This game is great. Even though the graphics are not up to par with current gen games, the gameplay and story are top notch

Great game, love playing it either remotely or playing it at home. Hours of fun and can't wait to continue the series...

A fresh new take in the FF formula. Fun and challenging to learn the new combat and systems overall. Having a lot of fun

I love final fantasy games. It was different the most but it was good storyline and awesome easy to learn gameplay.

I love the every changing aspects to the game series. It's a great game visually stunning and amazing easy controls.

I kinda knew going in that this wasn't in the same vain that the other FF games are played. It takes some getting used to, being the game play isn't the standard turn based game. Graphically, it's pretty for a game that was originally made for a handheld. As always, the music was good. I managed to get this cheap as it was $20 retail, and I had a rewards certificate. Good value.
