Having not played any FF games since FFIX, I was skeptical but hopeful that I would like it. Well, I LOVED it!! I had to get used to the live action combat vs. the traditional FF combat style (select your attack and hit the button) and the fact that the game helps you aim at the target helps a lot. This is not so with some magic attacks- so I just try to avoid anything that requires that much aim (and you get shot, scratched and attacked if you aren't out of the way) and use the magic that blasts everything around me. Great story line, great characters and lots of goals which makes playing through multiple times (which you are supposed to do anyway) a blast to do. Hope the sequel isn't too far off!

The FFXV demo is amazing and awesome, but so is this game. It's one of the best things to come out of the Final Fantasy universe in a decade. Worth a look if you like action games or Final Fantasy.

Surprisingly I'm having fun with this game. Would recommend to any Final Fantasy fans. I got this mostly for the FFXV demo but 2 hours in I'm enjoying Type-0. I like how each character has their own unique style of combat. I've barely scratched the surface of the entire game but I'm looking forward to playing more.

Although I found some enjoyment from all of the main Final Fantasy games, it has been awhile since one has captured at least some of what made the PS1 era FF games great. I was initially concerned slightly on the time management aspect of the game because I didn't care for it in Lightning Returns however I find it to work much better in this game. As for combat, it reminds me a lot of FF XII but real time instead of turn based. Building up multiple characters is also fun and allows you to play to each of their strengths as you progress through the game. As for the negatives, the camera is the worst thing I can say about the game. Occasionally it can get in the way and make it very frustrating when you're fighting the boss at the end of the chapter. Being a PSP game originally the graphics are obviously not up to PS4 standards but I prefer gameplay over graphics anyway. Overall I'd recommend it if you're into JRPGs. It has some issues but as a whole it's been a great addition to the FF series and the most fun I've had with one since FF IX came out.

FF fan? This is an excellent addition to the collection. It's a nice change of pace from the usual series brand. If nothing else, it'll Quinch your thirst till FF14 comes out. Speaking of which, the demo for FF14 is no slacker. 20hrs+

It's a new way to experience the Final Fantasy series. Much more action oriented gameplay with very deep RPGs elements. The one downside is the "motion blur you get when you swing the camera around.. I'm not prone to motion sickness, but if I move the camera too much I do feel a little ill.

This game came out in Japan on PSP, but not here. It finally came out on PS4 with some graphical improvements. It is Final Fantasy goodness as you would expect. Of course, being originally a PSP title, it is not as polished graphically as a game originally made for PS4 should be.

Had a great time playing this game from the Final Fantasy series, the gameplay was truly exciting, being able to switch and play between 14 different characters, each with their own special abilities and moveset, offering hours to gameplay to enjoy. The only con I would mention is that this remaster could've been a little bit more "HD". All the playable characters look beautifully remastered, but the background designs still look low quality, however it's understandable considering this game was originally released for the PSP! I enjoyed playing this game & found myself playing some missions repeatedly for a perfect grade.

Fun remastering of the PSP game that never made it out of Japan. Wish it had been for my Vita, but I'm enjoying it on PS4. The graphics are ho-hum, but the gameplay is unique to the series and a blast to play. Bought it for the XV demo, staying for Type-0's story and gameplay.

The game is very fast paced and it takes time to get used to it. The more hours you put in, the more hours you put into the better the experience. Is this game a must buy? No, I would wait until its on sale? Yes

Just got this and It took awhile to get used to the battle mode but it is growing on me and it seems to be getting more fun as I get into more fights. The dialogue scenes seem off to me but the story is still keeping me interested. So far it's good. Fighting is dynamic.

Final Fantasy Type-0 is a psp spinoff. It's different than your typical Final Fantasy games. It's faster pace and all in real time. The graphics aren't that great but the story and combat kept me interested. I'm 25 hours in the game and still have quite a bit to do.

Love this Game!! Really good, Like the style of fighting, the story, the characters, and the music. This is a very good Final Fantasy game for anyone to play.

I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of Type 0. My only con regarding this game is that it was a remastered PSP game, other then that it's definitely worth playing. If the price puts enough hurt to stay away then purchase it when it goes on sale.

The updated graphics are amazing for a psp game. The story is incredibly good and the gameplay is the best out of any recent ff game to date.

A different styled Final Fantasy game. Voice Acting isn't that great. Check out some YouTube videos to see if you'll like the battlesystem. If you think you will the game is worth it.

I have not played a Final Fantasy since FF XIII, but I am enjoying this game so far, and the management system is fun and the combat is a little different from my recent experiences with the franchise, but still a nice play nonetheless.

This is an excellent HD remake for a game that was previously only released in Japan. Since it came from the Vita some of the controls are a little weird, but the gameplay is excellent. Recommend for any fan of the final fantasy series

This is a great first next gen FF title. While it's a remake and not as amazing as FFXV will be, it is a solid game with a mature feel that sets the tone for next year's FFXV.
