This is the first Final Fantasy Entry to receive an "M" rating. This is much in part due to the portrayal of war in this game. The game has a confusing story, requiring you to play through it three times to see all the cutscenes that piece everything together. The multiple playthrough requirement was more than likely a result of this entry being first a portable title, giving more replay value to game. The combat is fine, requiring timing your attacks to deal significant damage to enemies. There are many playable characters so it won't hard to find a favorite to play. All in all, a fun game if you can get past the somewhat confusing story during the first playthrough. The second playthrough will be harder, but also expand on the things that were unexplained in the first.

The game overall has an interesting storyline. The gameplay is super fun, but the 14 playable characters can be a bit much sometimes. It also has playthrough value as it offers alternative missions and harder difficulties.

The enhanced graphics are great on PS4. The game control and enemy AI is also done really well and flow in the game. Story can be hard to follow with all the characters, but you are never lost in it. Overall good remake.

I'll be honest: I mainly bought this game for the Final Fantasy XV demo. Type 0 was an ok game, but the camera, combined with the horrible motion blur, nearly made me sick.

Great game so far and the FFXV demo is worth it alone. Graphics are sub par but gameplay camera is motion sickness waiting to happen. This isn't your FF teen for sure.

It's a lot of fun, but might be a little dark compared to other Final Fantasy titles. Such a shame this was never released on the PS Vita in the west as it would make a perfect handheld game.

After playing the poor FFXIII trilogy, Type-0 renews my faith in the series. Fun gameplay and interesting yet dark story.

This is an action RPG along the lines of the Crisis core game rather than a more traditional RPG like FF games are. That is ok if it is what you are expecting. I am not too far into the game yet but I cannot make heads or tails of the story. It seems like it would be a good tail, except everything seems out of context like we are missing the beginning and a story piece between each cut-scene. I could see enjoying this much more on the Vita as since it was a PSP title feels like it was made for a handheld. The main driver for this game seems to be to sell the FFXV demo and that is a disappointment.

Got a few hours in already and I love the combat system. Switch between 3 characters to battlle in a large area. Choose between 14 characters and weapons.

I haven't actually played any of this game but I bought it at launch to play the FFXV demo. I put enough time into that to make it worth it but maybe one day I will get around to playing the actual game.

This game has amazing graphics. It has a good story and is fun to play.

My son loves these games and is very much looking forward to the newly formatted (for the PS4) of Final Fantasy 7. We purchased this game to continue his play time of this game series. He loves it.

Talk about value! I pay $60 for the FFXV demo and a game came free with it. On top of that the game is decent as well. It's definitely not for everyone but it great to see it ported over form the PSP.

I bought Type 0 to hold me until Final Fantasy XI release. I was not disappointed in this game, even though it was initially released for the Vita. The game is engaging and the story is captivating!

It is a very unique Final Fantasy that relies on a very solid combat system to help us go through some challenging situations. If you love the franchise as much as we do, it won't disappoint you.

This wasn't a too bad series of the Final Fantasy franchise. The story line is great and I love the character and interaction of the game. I think the only con i could think of is the battle format is completely different. Its very similar to Crisis Core so it may take some time to get the hang of it. Overall, its a great game. Some folks were disappointed after playing the first chapter but keep continue on with the chapter and it gets pretty fun.

This is a solid yet different Final Fantasy Game. I was very use to the standard turn base Final Fantasy and this was a bit different and took a little bit to get use to. Still enjoyed playing.

So far I love this game, it is a very good game and has offered a different experience than the other ff games while staying true to its roots.

Another great Final Fantasy game. Lots of characters and a bit of a darker story, and awesome graphics.

Keep in mind this is a remake of an unreleased PSP game. That being said, the visuals are crisp and the game looks great on PS4. Definitely something to hold you over until Final Fantasy XV
