Great remake but needs more ROG feel way too linear.

I ordered this game last year. I received it on time but have still not received my code for the bonus dlc material. The game is great but one of the reasons I preordered was to get the dlc.

I figured it would be a remake...it is but not a complete remake..it ends in the shinra building! Thought there would be much more to this game

Bought it for my boyfriend, I played it before him just to see the hype (since I've played the original). It's alright, wait til on sale since it's not even fully completed game.

As the summary states, I still haven't received my Pre-order bonus although I've followed the instructions on the best buy forums. Not so much as a response to my messages or calls.

We bought this game online as a pre-order. We have not played it yet. It was the wrong game. It was not woeth the price.

The worst part about this game is that the story is not yet fully released. I think I would rather wait until the whole story is released to play it.

The review score doesn't reflect the actual product but the lack of a dlc code for pre-ordering. Usually get it a day or two in advance... But still nothing.

Game looks good if you dont look too closely, plays great and has a few interesting things to do. Story suffers a lot. So if you want to understand whats going on you jeed to play the original ps1 game because Nomura likes to mess around with time and fate even though he has very little understanding of how to tell a story. It has nice anime battles if thats what you are looking for.

its a dream to see all these characters in these visuals. The story, unfortunately, gets destroyed by Nomura and only let's down its oldest fans

If this game was not based on FF7 no one would care about it. You run down a hallway fight something boss or regular enemy and then watch a cut scene and then repeat for 30 hours until your done. Impressive graphics but nothing else it literally made me not care about what happens next just buy and play the original game

i never got my chocoboo chick code when i got this....sows it in the picks....thats why i went with the 1 from best buy

Save your money and time buying from liars and snakes. This company since the 00’s have changed. They are desperate to compete with Amazon and Walmart. They lie to get your money pre ordering. And then proceeds to delay and/or never give you the items you bought. Especially preorder codes. Never got my Chocobo Chick DLC. They lied and said it will come to email in 24hrs. And then turns to a week. And that pretends that it is too late to receive the codes. Like foreal? It just this incident but all preorders that you purchase. Just get regular game. Don’t expect deluxe+ preorders. Oh yea. Expect your products to be dented and packaged ripped. Not meant to collect but to be collected as dented.

The DLC Chocobo Chick that should be included on pre-irdering this game is not included until this date

Love the game. Would really really like to get my chocobo summon dlc though. So I'd recommend never preordering anything from best buy ever again because from what I can tell this is a common occurrence with them.

It's really boring! A TON of walking and talking and only 7 enemy types :/

This set was kind of a waste of money for me. Oh well the game is still good

Didn’t think it was possible to remake this game but the mad lads did it. Is it perfect? No. Is it a good game? YES! This game has a good blend of tactical combat for FF veterans and lot of action for the newer generation, good blend of new and old. The game runs amazing on the PS5. With Rebirth (part 2) coming out soon now is the perfect time to play it!

Story line was trash. I would not have purchased it if I knew.
