I can't believe they made this game that good. I was terrified the game would be worse than the original, I was pleasantly wrong. They have expanded on the world so much, made such a satisfying combat system. They give you an option to battle old school ATB / menu style if you so choose as well. It caters to the original / nostalgic players like me, and to the new base.

This game brings up so many memories. I love the new graphics and music.

I don’t play many games, but I really enjoyed FF7R. You can really appreciate the references to the original game (which I played a long time ago). The improvements to modernize the battles to make them less random and real time were fascinating. Previous games I think would appeal to more hardcore RPG lovers, but now I think it’s really streamlined / fun for everyone.

I was upset when I first heard they hadn't truly remade the entire original game of FFVII, but news of future releases as "sequels" should be interesting and allows them to pack much much more into this story. It's really fleshed out, highly detailed, and has lots of story and character development. Worth picking up even if you never had a chance to play the original.

Since 1997 I've been waiting for this amazing title to get the remake/remastered version it deserved especially since the very first technical demo of the PS3 demonstrated what this game could've been so I'm glad patience and determination from all the fans paid off to finally enjoy this incredible game that no doubt will hold the test of time as the original.

I am so happy with this. It arrived a little later than it said, The arrival was for April 9th but somehow got delayed to April 10th, but I was fine with that. Still arrived on release day. I was really just so happy to get it. The exclusive is very good material and am so happy I got it. The game is amazing and a must for every Final Fantasy 7 fan! No regrets! <3

I'm not going to include any spoilers, don't worry. I'll just say that you probably don't need to read a review here to help you decide to buy this game. I will say that neat buy kind of goofed when it came to pre-order bonuses. I never got the code for an additional summon DLC. When I called I was told that best buy ran out of them. Sucks but all we can do is wait.

I played FF7 when I was in middle school, then I never missed anyone of the FF series. Played the original FF12 a few years ago and bought this remake version last week from gamestop. Really impressed!!! This is not a simple update to the old version, it is a complete remake with new graphics and new content. I am very happy because this is exactly what I asked for.

So far, I am enjoying this game. It's been a very long time since I played the original game. I completed that at least 3 times from start to finish. I am really enjoying the new game. Beautiful graphics, little nods to the original game. Anyone who hasn't played this game before is in for a treat. Square Enix really went above and beyond with recreating Midgar.

My nostalgia is super high!! The original was the first RPG game that I ever played and the story is amazing. This game has taken it to a whole new level. It has given way more background to the whole story and the characters involved. I have already beaten it but I can’t put it down. Working on beating it on hard mode now. Buy and you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic remake, faithful but with some flaws. Some pacing issues made the overall story progression slow down at times. Great real time battle mechanics, though takes time to get used and can get hectic at times. Splitting it into multiple games is a drag but with the story being fleshed out and length it makes it a little easier to bear.

Final Fantasy VII has been one of my favorites games since I was a kid. I knew when this was announced I had to have it. I was fortunate enough to pre-order the deluxe version of the game the same week it came out. Thanks Best Buy! Well anyways I’m already excited to play this game. The graphics are just jus amazing. I got my speakers hooked up and ready to go.

Incredible update to one of my favorite games of all time in my favorite series’s. Incredible soundtrack, top notch voice acting, and while they expanded the entire part of midgar and only midgar for this installment, I didn’t have any problem wasting 130+ hours in this world. Can’t wait for the rest of the installments to be released!

I loved the original FF7 and this remake not only adds to the legacy but greatly builds upon it. My favorite part is the new battle mechanics which oddly pay homage to the turn base but also updates it to feel fresh and modern. I also really love the updated score. If you are considering getting this, you really need to just buy it! Da da da dum da da!

Got to say I almost thought that this game would never come out, but now it's in my hands. The game is beautiful, one of the best looking games on the PS4. The game even looks better than FFVII Advent Children. The downloadable summons for this Deluxe Edition are not really that powerful, but that is to be expected. Overall this is an incredible game.
