Worth the wait! Fantastic visuals, great storyline (with additional stories not in the original, to keep things entertaining). And the replay value with Hard mode turns an already challenging game into a heroic feat! Can't wait for the next installment!

This is how remakes should be done. Too bad its only a third of the whole game. Cameras get annoying sometimes but overall what an accomplishment.

I smell game of the year with this one. The original is my favorite game of all time, very passionately so, and this was done with such masterful execution. Square Enix delivered 110% with this one. A nearly flawless game in graphics, gameplay, story execution, voice acting, and emotion. 10/10.

Remakes/reboots are all the rage these days; this remake takes what was beloved about the original and turns it to an 11! I often don't make a point to 100% games as I've gotten older--with FF7 remake: its mandatory that I do that! I'm anxious/excited to see how the rest of the saga turns out.

The original will always hold a close place in my heart, but they went above and beyond on this remake. They were able to keep the original feel of FF7 but also were able to add new scenes that actually ENHANCED and BUILT off of the older version. I am very impressed and still playing the game

I had tiny issues with it but it blew me away...story, characters, music, battles. There is some padding i'll admit but the game is definitely worth the price

this game isn't a perfect game but the quality is definitely top tier of quality. if you are a fan of the original then definitely give this a go, if you are into JRPGs or FF games then check it out as well, this is definitely a step in the right direction for FF. huge improvement over FFXV.

Final Fantasy 7 always sounded like the perfect game, so immediately this game has a lot to live up to. The remake retells the story in a modern age that is sure to satisfy anyone who is a fan of the original. The gameplay is also a stand out with numerous options and abilities to use.

This is a beautiful game, great sound, I enjoyed the combat system, narrative is not the strongest but will get better in the sequels. The characters are varied and Square has brought them to life beyond using nostalgia. Interested to see where it goes from here, open world vs linear.

I tend to find these Deluxe Editions to not be worth the extra cost. They're nothing more than a "bookshelf buy." Its something to show off to your friends or display somewhere. I think the FF7R mid-tier package is similar, although the extras do help warrant that purchase. The art book is better than most, the Steelbook art looks great, the game's "double packaging" is great, and the music CD is a nice touch (although - who even has a CD player anymore? thank god for consoles!). The in-game bonus' (Two Summoning Materia) is fine but non-essential and barely has a use. So with the above said, if you really like FF7, want to have something a little more commemorative but don't need a statue of Cloud on a bike, this is a decent buy. You'll look at the extras once and then put them on a shelf, but thats what these Deluxe Editions are for. Oh -- the game itself is awesome too. I'm nearing the end and at about 33 hours. Its a fun and respectful modern take (and a full game!)

One of my favorite games of all time, have been waiting for this since 1997. Rare that a video game gets me this excited and hooked, but this did it. Wish it were a full game and there were story changes I didn't love, but overall a 95 out of 100 for me.

been waiting for this for years and loved it. If you are looking for the og but with modern graphics you might be a little surprised at how much has been added but, it made a 23 year old game have some surprises again and they tie in to the rest of the ff7 compilation nice.

So this comes with an amazing metallic case, a really cool art book, and the remake of one of my favorite games ever. Unfortunately, the gameplay is a lot different from the original. Still a great game, but beware that it plays a lot different from the original FF7.

It’s been a 23 year wait since the original release of Final Fantasy 7. Yet here it is the Remake fans have been waiting for! It soars and goes above and beyond my expectations and will for others as well. Do yourself a favor and reply this classic or enjoy it for the first time.

Played the original as a child and absolutely love what they have remade this game into. Action is fluid, graphics are sharp and seeing the story come to life from pixels is absolutely amazing. Must have for adult fans and a great way to be introduced to this story for new fans.

As a gamer, this is truly a game worth buying. Based on the original released game in 1997, Final Fantasy 7 Remake adds incredible new details and adds new features. The game is only the 1st part of the original but I will definitely be getting the other parts once they release.

If you're a fan of Final Fantasy and a even bigger fan of FFVII, then you must get this game. Graphics are amazing and the game play is awesome. One of the best game of all time in a remake edition is an incredible feat. I will be waiting for the other parts of this remake.

FF7 Remake is one of the best games to come to PS4 in the last 5 years. It expands the story of the old final fantasy 7 by giving us a more in-depth look at the city of Midgar and making us care about the life of the newly introduced characters. The game is a must buy.

The original came out when I was 8 years old. Playing this now is going back in time. The game looks incredible and the gameplay is great. I was worried about the new gameplay style, it's awesome. Works very well.

I've never played the original FFVII, but this game was great! The combat system was fun and the characters were all so likable! When the game ended, I was sad that we have to wait a few years for the sequel. If you like action JRPG, then I highly recommend this game.
