Amazing experience reminiscent of the original Final Fantasy 7. You can still use the ATB Battle system of the original or play more in control of the characters. Good gameplay.

A really well made RPG that hits a lot of notes from the old game and throws in a few new ones as well. Not a one for one remake of the old game. Combat is in real time and not turn based. Fairly long but not so much its a slog. Lots of nostalgia moments and good fun!

This is an excellent remake and reimagining of one of the best games ever made. It keeps what’s important and innovates to make its systems modern and relevant. There is a decent amount of filler content, but it doesn’t detract from the captivating majority of the game

The first installment of Midgar in Final Fantasy 7 Remake is amazing. A great tour down memory lane with amazing graphics and cut scenes. Any Final Fantasy 7 fan needs to get this game! Even if you have never played the original, you should try this revamped epic tale!

A gorgeous reimagining for fans new and old. All the old content holds strong, while the added areas can feel unnecessarily bloated at times.

I am a huge fan of FF, this and the FFIII are the games that I first played from the series and still my favorites. The remastered is beautiful, the animations and renders are great. Playing is different than the usual turn based but is good too.

Excellent game despite I never play the original game I love it I became a fan fan Final Fantasy 7 because of the movie that was released years ago. The point I’m so glad they remake the game. The graphics are amazing and the cut scene well done I give it 10 out 10

I love this game! I've never played the original Final Fantasy 7, but the Remake is definitely one of the great Final Fantasy games. I recommend to anyone who likes playing Final Fantasy games or maybe hasn't played any of the games in the series. Money well spent!

If you are a final fantasy fan, you will love this game. If this is the first exposure to final fantasy, this game is one of the best there is. There is enough in depth play to make the storyline so much better reliving the original ff7. This is a must buy game.

One of the best rpgs ever made even better with modern graphics and QOL updates. If you played the original you owe it to yourself to play this one. Be aware that this is only part one and the full story is not told in this installment.

The amount of content that is added to the original game is staggering. The fighting system is super deep and the added story content makes you appreciate the characters even more. I just hope the wait isn’t too long between each episode. Great game nonetheless!

I loved the original final fantasy 7 and this new remake did not disappoint. It was such a great experience seeing all the characters in such great, updated graphics. The game was great. I will be going and playing through it again. Definitely worth getting.

What is there to say? It's a remake of one of my all-time favorite games. Still have my original copy from the PS1 days. I knew I had to have a physical copy, so I pre-ordered this. The game looks fantastic. The game play is great, and we are really enjoying it!

This might be one of my favorite deluxe editions! The steelbook is beautiful filled with detail. This deluxe edition is worth it for the legendary soundtrack too! This was everything I had hoped for and this game will for sure be a game of the year contender!

This remake has far exceeded my expectations! I thought this remake would just be a cash grab with pretty visuals, but so far this has been a very fun experience. FF7 Remake is worth buying whether you are a long time fan of the series or just starting out!

Just a stellar reimagining of the original material. The combat is a blast and the weapon upgrade system gives you plenty of flexibility, to say nothing of the gorgeous environments and lively NPCs. If you enjoy RPGs this is one you should check out asap.

Words cannot describe how incredible this experience is. It will make you never want to put your controller down. As a lifelong fan I can't wait to see what comes next. I almost wish I'd never played it before so this could be my first experience with FF7. Strongly encourage anyone has never played the original to play this. It has moved way past your traditional JRPG. With "real time" combat, and fetch and fight side quests in each town, it closely borders the line between JRPG and Open World adventures like Dragon Age and Witcher. Moving from town to town completing quests. This first part stays true to the original and guides you in a linear fashion but opens up towns in a way that still makes you feel like you're free to go where you want. For anyone that doesn't already know this entry took the original 7-8 hours you spend in Midgar and turned into a 40+ hour game.
