The highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 remake is finally here. I thoroughly enjoyed the game from beginning to end. All of the main characters from the game have more depth in their role. This is the best game of the year so far in my opinion and I cannot wait to get my hands on the second part.

This is going to set the bar for every future remake, regardless of IP or company. This is not only a good remake but the best Final Fantasy game Square Enid has ever created. Some people might be annoyed at some changes to the narrative, but regardless this is a masterpiece on every level.

A super fun spin off the original. Fighting mechanic is different but still challenging. Story plot was similar to the original and they put certain twists. Overall, glad for the purchase. Please keep in mind this is only part 1 of the game, so, this is not a remake of the whole game.

I grew up loving the original FF7 and this remake did NOT disappoint. It tells the story of the first area of FF7, but in a new way. Still familiar, but in a new way and more detailed. I would recommend to fans of the original. Can't wait for the rest of the remake

Being a big fan of the original FF VII, I tried to keep an open mind with the game, even though the part of the game in Midgar was my least favorite. Amazing graphics. I thoroughly enjoyed the further character development of Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie. As an avid gamer, I played the game on the normal setting. Every battle seemed like an unnecessary struggle and boss battles took way too long. I had to chunk my time with the game as it became work at points.

Lots of fun and brings back good memories of the original. Really enjoy the updated graphics but not a fan of the battle system changes.

I was worried that remaking my favorite game of all time as an action game would ruin it but it turned out much better than I expected. The pull up mini game is the only trophy I am unable to get. Super frustrating that they made it so hard to get.

Been waiting forever for this! I love it so much. One of my all time favorite games upgraded to these beautiful graphics!

Omg, where do I begin? If you loved the original...heck, if you even just LIKED the original you're gonna love this version! Easily 40 hours to finish the first time around, and now we're going again on "hard mode"...and there are differences in gameplay. A true "must buy"!

Not the standard deluxe edition, but given it is $10 less than the usual ones, I think its fair priced. Game is amazing and booklet is the usual collectors book (small with few pages). I do like how they give you the original case in addition to the collector's case

Creative re-interpretation of the PS1 classic. Has it’s familiar elements that made the original a classic while adding new elements. Keep in mind that the remake is based on the Midgar section of the original although the playtime is very long. Highly enjoyed it.

It’s everything I imagined and more. The fact that it’s episodic and this game is the first in the series does not bother me. All the characters are flushed out and you gain a great connection to each. Probably the best cinematic presentation in a rpg I’ve ever seen.

If you are a fan of final fantasy 7, this game will bring a lot of joy. Although it might not be the full game exploring, Midgar was really fun in full had. The characters in this game are iconic, and seeing them fully fleshed out was a great addition!!

Was bought for me for my birthday and it he lived up to all that I had waited for! I grew up playing the final fantasy series and it has exceed my expectations ten fold. I finished the game in a matter of 5 days! I can’t wait for the following discs to come out next.

First time playing Final Fantasy VII. I was thoroughly impressed with the story and gameplay. This game has made me appreciate JRPGs more than before. This is a must-buy for your PlayStation library. You will be pleasantly surprised and are in for an epic adventure.

The game is amazing. The only issue I have is that Best Buy dropped the ball this time on delivering the preorder bonus to me in a timely manner. I'm still waiting on my redemption code for my Chocobo Chick.

As a massive fan of the OG game, I had my apprehension. But this game exceeded all of my expectations and I fell in love with the characters in a whole new light. So many questions but I think they’re gonna surprise as more when the next games come out. So excited!

I got this as 2 birthday gifts. One of the recipients shared that they were pleased with the deluxe inclusions. Artistry of the game was phenomenal. Great game to play during the COVID-19 stay-at-home advisory/mandate, if you want an alternative to Animal Crossing

I have been waiting for this game to come out. When all other gaming stores closed, bestbuy made it easy for me to get my game and easy to pick up with all that is going on in the world today. Thanks to bestbuy for still making things avaiable even with curb pickup.
