An extremely strong retelling of the beginning of Final Fantasy VII. It manages to be its own unique experience that doesn't make the original obsolete, while still improving on the original in a number of ways.

Only have a few issues, biggest being this game is on some serious rails. The other being, I hope you enjoy slow walks.

We were able to place our order last minute after game stop "lost" our pre order. One box came a little bent but that wasn't such a big deal. It actually shipped a day earlier than it said it would so my husband was happy about that.

Game is great,however Best Buy’s shipping leaves a lot to be desired. The game was shipped in a bubble mailer and it damaged the box. Would be nice if they mailed games especially special edition games in boxes to protect them.

I received my game via UPS today and everything about the deluxe edition was worth the extra money. The digital code for the chocobo chick was sent to me via email. I’m installing the game as I review this and can’t wait to grind it out.

The graphics are amazing and the cut scenes are very entertaining. The walk throughs if you've never played a Final Fantasy are easy to follow. I personally have enjoyed this game and look forward to purchasing the future installments!

The physical deluxe comes with metal case, imo it’s much better because the plastic case has moving parts inside. The CACTUS and CHICK SUMMOMS are digital so if you bought this from bestbuy make sure to check your email for that code.

Loved the original. The remake is great. The packaging was a bit odd. I wish the discs were in the steelbook case instead of a normal case and an empty steelbook. Ended up with an extra case I suppose I can use for something else.

This was great, just wish it was either the whole game, or Square had a schedule and plan for the rest of the game.

It was totally worth the wait! Probably one of my favorite games of all time now! I'm only 3/4 of the way though, but I've been loving every minute! Whether you're new to the series, or returning to Midgar, this game is worth it!!

If you’re a fan of the first version or even if it’s your first time playing this series, you are in for a long and enjoyable RPG masterpiece! Honestly the collector’s edition is not necessary, it’s the game that’s a must. Buy it!

One of the best game franchises in existence, FF7 in particular holds a wonderful place in our hearts. I waited so long for the remake and I was not disappointed. Such a great game. Thank you Square Enix.

It's fantastic. My only gripe is that I read very little before buying it and didn't realize it was only part of the game. But don't let that stop you! It's still loaded with top quality content to keep you hooked to the end!

Wonderful remake with awesome gameplay! Do not like the length spent in Midgar, why was this drawn out so much just to make more games. But it also had excellent cutscenes that emotionally draw you in. All in all, great game.

i came to final fantasy late i did play the original recently and now seeing the remake is pretty amazing because its not a turn based game in a way that is more a hack and slash game and that was something i really enjoyed

This Game is so fun it has all the right stuff and if your a Final Fantasy Fan well get ready to embark on a journey that was long overdue. You will love the battle style and the AP mechanics. Enjoy the game as much as I am!

Loving the graphics so much better than the original. Game play is a little different but easy to pick up.

I haven’t played the original FF7 to compare it with FF7R but I have no doubt that I am experiencing greatness from the remake! I didn’t think that my favorite aspect would be the epic music and soundtracks within the game!

Was a great 40 hour run through. Wish they would have been more up front about this not being the entire story. There will be sequels to this one. Likely a total of 3-5 games. Unfortunately around 2-5 years apart each.

Solid remake of an old game's early chapters with new content that keeps the game fresh and exciting for players returning. Good mix if the fight system between the classic style turn base with real time action and inputs.
