Most any fan will appreciate playing them again. Unfortunately, I do not feel like these games have aged well in terms of mechanics. The characters are outstanding and the narrative as convincing as the originals (since none of this content had been changed, after all.) But I worry that these captivating tales will not be remembered after the HD remakes fade away in favor of new content. Somebody write these games into novels, already!

Worth the price

I played both of the original games on the PS2, so I wasn't in a hurry to pick them up again, but I am happy that I purchased them known the less. Especially, since the price has significantly dropped and it only cost me $15.
