Waited years for this game and I did enjoy majority of the game. However, a lot was left out behind multiple versions and DLC. I was going to wait to play the game again but then the rest of the content got butchered

The problem of this game was hype. So many years in development and so many good things we heard over the past decade. The game is average in my opinion. If you are a super Final Fantasy fan you will like it but it's an average game.

This is probably the last final fantasy game I will ever take a chance on. It's been on a decline since FFVII-IX. Would not play this unless like you enjoy getting angry over beautiful, but terrible games

This review is in regards to the service. The video game itself is not something Bestbuy has control of (game is awesome) and I did receive it in good condition. I prepaid so the day that the game was released I can just stop by for a quick in & out. Instead I waited 45 minutes at the service counter while 3 employees try to figure out how to hand me a prepaid video game. Finally one walks to the back/warehouse and brought up SEVERAL copies of the game! I am still very confused about the transaction to this day...if I knew my purchase would cause such a ruckus I would have just downloaded it.

I enjoyed the game, though I feel it was over too quickly, it's definitely catered to people who don't really play JRPGs often. I wish the game was longer with more to do.

A decent game. I'm not a big fan of the battle system, but it seems I'm in the minority on that one. Also feels very Japanese, I prefer the western RPGs personally. Decent game, just not my style.

Thought I was going to enjoy this one a lot more than I did. If you are a fan of the series than get this game. If not than this one is totally skippable, with VERY unlikable characters.

The title of my review sums it up perfectly this game is not good, its not bad either. It is a poor excuse for an RPG and a disgrace to the once proud name of Final Fantasy franchise.

I enjotmyed what I played of this title but there are just too many patches, DLCs, and extra contents. It feels like we still haven’t played the complete experience.

Game is decent. But me personally I liked other final fantasy games better. This wasn't really my cup of tea. I'm not saying the game was bad. I'm just saying the game wasn't for me.

There is a lot of content in this game but the story wasn't very good and many of the quests were super repetitive (hunting especially)

I've played nearly every game in the series. This one in my opinion is not that great. A lot of changes were made, and story/gameplay is not as great as other entries in the series.

Bought this for my teenage son who loves it. I personally, think it's an alright title in the franchise. Looking forward to the future of FF

This game is a missed opportunity. It would have been a lot better if directed by Nomura which has more emphasis on interesting plot with characters building.

I think I should have bought Witcher 3. Seems like a lot of the first part of the gameplay is grinding like you would before fighting a final boss or something.

This is a good game but I honestly think the world space is too big. Lots of running around with nothing to do most of the time. But overall it's a good game.

It's basically a japanese boy band going on a road trip down route 66. The story is flat and nonexistent. The voice acting is terrible and the quips are grating. The combat involves holding a button as you watch your character awkwardly twist and jerk around like a drunk. They definitely didn't use mocap for this. Graphics are sub PS3 level with unimaginative design and super flat and hland dungeons. They don't even have shadows in the entire game which is a joke.

Not really into the final fantasy franchise but just thought I give it a chance. The game is okay and if your a fan of the series then it's a must buy.

Sub part story super bromance fighting system broken, not a good final fantasy... Did not thing it was worth 60 bucks leveling system not good...

Interesting game. My first Final Fantasy. Lots of time wasted getting from point A to point B. Needs online to keep it from getting stale.
