The final fantasy series has been slowly dying since after 10 in my opinion. Only reason I gave this game a shot was I was following it for a decade. Pre order arrived on Friday I've got about 12 hours into it. So far it seems like square has gotten back to what fans love about final fantasy. It's not turn based but battle system is pretty much kingdom hearts style which is awesome and the same team worked on it I believe. Open world, side quests, awesome battles. Ive been running around aimlessly so far so can't comment on story line. I'm sure some will love it some will hate it like with every story. Great game to me so far though. Now just waiting for final fantasy 7 remake to come out!! Square enix is going in the right direction with there fans!

I've been with the franchise since VII and remember picking up my copy in 1997, although there have been some flops and some great titles since then I do personally miss the turn base system and don't enjoy the new battle system in XV.

New Age Final Fantasy? It has low rider cars! It has NO TURN BASE! It's not a Final Fantasy, it's an adventure game with new characters. I did not like it. Plus, you're forced to train for 45 minutes! Who has that time?

The graphics are the only good thing about this game. The story is incomplete, the supporting characters are underdeveloped, and the gameplay is shallow.

FFXV is missing so many elements that makes FF, FF. This used to be my favorite series until they changed it entirely. The story is lazy and the combat is very basic. Also the cast lack personality and diversity.

The graphics are great but I didn't like how it was boring for me other people might like but I didnt like the plot or the fighting system or the weapons

I bought this game for Black Friday and I'm glad I got it on sale because I didn't like the storyline. My favorite FF games were 7, 8 and 9. These games have changed.

It took almost 3 days and 4 calls to customer service to get the digital download code over the phone. Each time I called they told me I had to wait 24 hours for what was supposed to be a 1hr delivery, to check my junk folder as If I was oblivious and have no knowledge of how an email account works. To finish it off they told me they did send it, basically calling me a liar, when there was never an email sent. Never again will I buy a digital code on Best Buy.

There are only two FF titles that I didn't enjoy, and that was 13 and now this one. The gameplay was not fun, the "open-world" was restricted by silly mechanics revolving around a car that doesn't fit in the universe or lore. Unnecessary busty mechanic when they could have made a compelling character in a not so traditional workplace. Maybe it's changed since release, but I got rid of the game the day after purchase.

Being an Final fantasy player since the original i have been anticipating this game. I was very displeased. What made FF good was the spells, and all the different abilities you would get / the tactics you would use to defeat an enemy. This game is just an,auto attack game. Honestly i can go on forever, the car stinks, the 4 boy band characters stink, at night time you can't see anything, this game is just horrible; In all aspects.

This game was hard at least for me not everyone is the same.

It is a great game but runs very very badly on ps4 pro... wainting for an update to fix the frames on Ps4 Pro

Not exactly my type of game. Weird game, kind of gets boring to me. Graphics don't seem that good either.

Love the Final Fantasy series. However, was disturbed to return home and notice that the game was rated “T” for partial nudity. While the FF series has been pushing the envelope over the past few years, this was a complete turn off to the series. Returned the game before even playing it.

Bad experience, left me very disappointed. I didn't like the western RPG feel, the reason I play final fantasy games is to escape reality. I recommend watching Conan's game review of this game. Granted, he is not the best source for game reviews, but I agree with every point he makes.

Atrocius framerate drops hinder the experience. A shame.

Big final fantasy fan but very disappointed with this game

Let me start by saying that I have never been a huge Final Fantasy fan. The last Final Fantasy game that I played was 7! This being said, I was a little bit hesitant to pick up this game. The trailers and reviews all seemed to be pretty good so I decided to give this game a chance. I am very VERY glad that I did. This game has blown me away on so many levels. The graphics are great, the game play is epic, though it may take some getting use to for long time fans of the series as the combat system is completely revised. The story is captivating and the rapport between character, while cheesy at times, really adds to the experience. This is a game that I do not want to put down, and I will continue to play for months to come. I will even purchase the DLC for this one (something I never do). If you are on the fence about getting this game, just do it. I do not think that you will regret that decision.
