This game felt like it could have used at least another year to finish in development. Without getting into spoilers; the main story feels like it could be decent but with so many things missing or happening off screen it just falls completely flat. The Open World parts are just filled with basic fetch quests with no actual rhyme or reason behind them . You're supposed to be a Prince and people are asking you to go catch frogs or bring them flowers or other random misc. item. The quests feel like something you'd expect to find in the first 5 levels of an MMORPG, except they are every single one in Final Fantasy XV. The combat and gameplay is extremely simplistic, while the change from standard turn taking to more action based is fun it feels pretty hallow compared to other Action RPGs made by Square like Final Fantasy Type-0 or Kingdom Hearts. You can literally beat the game by holding the attack button and chugging potions (you are immune from damage while using potions so it's impossible to die). The music was great, like most Final Fantasy games. Being able to tune into other Final Fantasy games soundtracks on your radio in the car was pretty neat too. Square has recognized the game feels unfinished and rushed and are supposedly releasing a ton of free DLC to fill in the gaps and make the game feel complete. My recommendation would be wait until all of this is released and then buy this game for $20.

After putting in 40 hours, all I can say is that I haven't even scratch the cover. group play is smooth and openwork has tons of side missions to keep you busy.

I was never a big fan, of Final Fantasy games or any RPG. This game is definitely worth a try. Definitely fun thus far.

This is a great game, initially. Then you seem to figure out the flaws in the game as it progresses. They could have added a better story, in my opinion. The game is very simple and seems very linear, when you don't consider the open world. The open world is only there for leveling up and side missions. Though they are fun at times... they're annoying the other times. But I will say this game is still good. It's just that there was so much potential for this game to be great.

Such a fun game great story great action if you're a fan of traditional J RPG's this is definitely where the way to go!

Is an adventure that never ends like other final fantasy but this one the best yet . Magic lives on

Fresh new look at Final Fantasy they stepped it up on this one. The only complaint is you can't drive the car..... wtf

This is a great new take on a very old franchise. Ffxv will change how the traditional rpg video games are thought of.

This game is fun and will take a while to complete it also requires a lot of space on your game system so be prepared

Love it! Be sure and watch the movie before hand tho. Still a great game. One of the best final fantasys I've played.

Love the realistic feel I haven't gotten too far along in the story yet, but it gets you hooked right from the start.

Completely accessible to a series noob and also happens to be an excellent open world adventure in its own right.

It is very enjoyable, I reccomend people play up to chapter 3 before playing too much of the side quests as the combat gets much better with added mechanics.
