The open world elements and flowing fighting style work really well together to keep this game fun and engaging most of the time, but the last third or the story is completely linear and doesn't let you off those rails once it starts. You also spend a ridiculous amount of time driving place to place. Still a great game, but suffers a bit from those flaws.

I haven't played a final fantasy since the ones days (nope, never even played 7!) but this game seems to finally change up the final fantasy formula just enough to get me excited again. The fast combat and the delicious looking 4k on ps4 pro make this game a feast for the eyes. Love it and I would definitely recommend to first timers in the series too!

I got this as a gift for my teenage daughter, for the holidays and to reward her for working really hard in school this year. The semester is finally over, and she is having a wonderful time playing the game. Beautiful graphics, great character interactions, interesting story. A winner!

Lets be honest. I have only ever played FFX. But I loved that game so much I've played it three times. I finally got a PS4 and bought FFXV right along with it. I love this game. I haven't stopped playing. The graphics are amazing. There are enough side quests to keep me busy for days.

I grew up playing the FF games and was very intrigued by the new one. I wasn't sure how i was going to feel about the new gameplay, but i LOVE it. Scenery and graphics are breathtaking. I love the new combat style. Even though the main characters look like an emo boy band, I love it.

I've always been a huge fan of the Final Fantasy Franchise and this new take on the series doesn't dissappoint. I've always been a huge fan of turned base combat but the new style is fun and fast. The story and game play are great and it doesn't get as repetitive as you would think.

Although this game doesn't play like a typical Final Fantasy game, the gameplay, characters, and open world RPG mechanics make this game an enjoyable experience and worthwhile experience. My favorite part of the game was driving around and questing while listening to my favorite songs from older FF games, which you can collect throughout the game.

Definitely one of the more intricate games in the Final Fantasy series. Fun characters and fun game play. An enjoyable game.

I've been a long-time final fantasy fan. The last few haven't really been that great. However, XV pulls the franchise out of their funk. The story is a little confusing at first, but the addition of extra materials (movies/short episodes) really helps clear things up. Great game!

Graphics are great, controls are good too, story not so much compared to other FF games.

I'm super torn on how I feel about this game. It's a big step in the right direction for a series that has sort of lost its way, but it's taken so long to make and is still so heavily flawed I can't help but still walk away feeling uneasy. Fun to play, strong start but a weak finish, insufficient storytelling with minimal payoff and a lot of needless fluff. Worth a quick playthrough but not much else.

A beautiful world, lots of gameplay, amazing music. A must.

after two very weird games of this franchise...we have another great game on the family, this game change the traditional gameplay but is a good change, is not perfect, but is still a Great Game, if you like RPG games or Open Worlds, or you want something different...buy it.

Just finished the game and I would say it ranks among one of my favorite FF games of all time. I really liked story and combat system was fun and fast. It doesn't punish you as much as previous FF games. Definitely rewards you for taking your time and grinding to level up.
