Great graphics quality but difficult to play. Hard to beat.

One of my fondest memories from my adolescent playstation years was playing the 4 disc playstation release of Final Fantasy VII. I spent countless hours exploring all the many varied lands and attempting to unlock all the limit breaks and collect all the summons. Unfortunately my after market memory card got corrupt and I lost all my save files and although I've played a few of the other games in the series, this one has satiated my hunger to reconnect with that feeling as well as blow me away with how fully realized a world could be, with the striking visuals, countless side missions, beautifully crafted game engine, great fighting mechanics and those summons giving you a true sense of scale. Excited to see what the DLC may hold as well as the next games Square Enix has in store for us!

Unlike a couple FF episodes in the past, FF XV fulfills the voids of those other titles with excellent game play, story mode and beautiful graphics. The monsters in this series and weapons are very interesting and unique as well.

This game is one of the best final fantasy games out there

I have played all the FF titles issued in the US. This one had a unique story line and a classic feel. More of a button masher than real thinker, it did provide many hours of fun game play. There is not a lot of repeat playing potential but worth the money for a one time play through.

Epic SquareEnix RPG. Outstanding environments. Character graphics and spell animations are outstanding. Story-line is above and beyond any RPG out right now. My only gripe is certain control schemes used in the game that felt limiting. But all in all wayyyy better than the 13 series.

Great game in the final Fantasy saga. Enjoying it so far.

Final Fantasy is back, and this time it is a gorgeous and sprawling open world with exciting real-time combat. I have enjoyed this game much more than I expected to and wish I would have started playing it sooner.

Truly for fans old and new, as promised at the start of the game. Graphically, the game is astonishing, and the gameplay so visceral in the weaving of story and player interaction that one cannot help but be compelled to follow Noctis on his quest. I was not prepared for the epic events that moved me, but nevertheless the experience was so rewarding that I now have more vitality for having played it! With Final Fantasy VII being essential in my video game foundation, having played it with my brother on the legendary PS1, this game thoroughly satisfied me. More so, it astonished me! As an adult, now 27 years old, if I had a kid brother nine years old like I was, I'd encourage him to play it. Justly, I give this game 5 stars, and am grateful for the honor to say so.

Despite the issues with development, FFXV turned out to be worth the effort and worth the wait, however it falls short of the hype that came with those 10 or so years of waiting. Whilst the game is great as a whole, some smudges here and there stop this game from being a masterpiece. Namely, the story and its pacing take a hit in certain chapters of the game, becoming too rushed or deliberate in sudden reveals and explanations of which you maybe had no idea about. Gameplaywise its good, the battle system is fun, keeping the pace of battles always engaging and most of the game's systems are good fun. The sense of journey is there when exploring the world of Eos and many surprises are waiting if you dare to explore and do the many sidequests the game has in offer. All in all, worth the buy and the playthrough. Definitely a step in a good direction for Square Enix and their work. And for fans of the series, an entry that is a must to try.

Story and characters have incredible depth. If you're a long time fan of the series you'll spot many many subtle things that'll you'll enjoy. Music score also blew me away. Might be my favorite Final Fantasy since Tactics.

Been waiting 10 years for this game and now that it's here it's a blessing to play through. The game is pretty fun to play and the story is interesting. I have put in 12+ hours and barely touched 1/5 of the game so far.

waiting for this one for so many years, it worth it.

This game in is extensive and has alot! The graphics are good. The characters are ones who you will fall in love with. And there is still the undertone of FF 7 . Awesome game. Starts out slow but picks up considerably.

Though the battle system is very different from the turn based system in past FF games, the aesthetic appeal of this game more than makes up for it! A great way to occupy yourself while waiting for the FF7 re-release!
