Sure there’s two other games Tears of the Kingdom and Baldurs Gate that are the front runners(Sorry but Spider-man 2 is not even close). FFXVI is a great game that will likely get recognition years later.

I've originally planned to buy ff16 at a later date but after playing the demo I decided to buy it day one. The game itself has been awesome thus far. The steelbook is amazing and one of the best ones I have in my collection.

A great game for someone looking to get into Final Fantasy. More action than RPG, but if you are a fan of games like God War PS4, youll enjoy the new twist to combat. If you want traditional JRPG play Octopath Traveler 2.

Just incredible for what Square managed to accomplish with this. As a somewhat new fan going into this franchise, im pleased to say i didnt feel lost with the story.

What a great bundle. I really liked the steelbook it came with. Overall a great bundle. I would definitely recommend if you are still looking for a physical copy.

Beyond expectations. There was some hesitation paying the price asked, however, what was included was well worth it. From the 2 steelboxes to the cloth map. Not to mention how enjoyable the game has been thus far.

Finally, Final fantasy has created a Mature game for all the adults out there to enjoy!!! This game has exceeded my expectations. It's so Dam Good!!!! I'm so excited. Now i just need to juggle FFXIV n FFXVI =)

If you're not a fan of action based games such as the Devil May Cry series, with a splash of the Souls series mixed in, this game might not be for you. Since the 13th game in the Final Fantasy franchise they've been moving further from traditional turn based gameplay. With the current 16th entry it's now the farthest from the old turn based gameplay the series started with. This is also the first mainline numbered Final Fantasy game to receive a "M" rating, and it's story is very inspired by the "Game of Thrones" TV show. While it doesn't get too heavy into the goriness it does contain a lot of bloody fights along with a lot of "colorful" language. This may throw off many Final Fantasy purist, but as a someone who started with the 10th game on, I think this new direction is welcome given the material it draws from. Lastly, $30 more for a steelbook and cloth map, I feel it's worth the extra, however I also got the pre-order bonus steelbook as well. If you're not interested in those extras the standard edition is good enough.

Worth the extra for deluxe edition, if you're a collector. The game itself is great. A nice return to medieval Final Fantasy with some very dark themes. Absence of anime style voice acting is also refreshing.

Final Fantasy 16 has been a beautiful and memorable immersive experience. From the story itself to the music perfectly setting the mood within different zones, this is a game that I would recommend to anyone.

$99.99 is a steep price tag, but an indulgence is nice once in a while, and this game delivers from the shimmering graphics on the outer box and steelbook, to the graphics in-game only the PS5 can deliver.

FFXVI is the fantastic next installment in the Final Fantasy series. The way that the weave game play with cinematic is next level and with the number of mocap scenes it leaves you wanting more.

Another one of my favorites of all time since PS1.

From start to finish i necer wanted to put the controller down from its obsolutely incredible score right down to its amazing storytelling Final Fantasy 16 is a must have for any PS5 console owner.

Excellent game, great story and great music! Not my favorite FF of all time, but better than the last few mainline games. I especially love the steel case and map that comes with this edition!

Game is fantastic, although preordering was kind of weird. I preordered the game and had to wait almost a week after the game released to receive my copy...other than that pretty easy process

One of favorite games of the year. It had some amazing moments that I'll remember for years to come. The action was fast paced and the boss battles were epic.

AMAZING! Have been waiting for FFXVI since it was announced and have not been let down. Cinematics are top notch, combat feels engaging and intuitive, loving the characters and story so far.

Solid action game with all the Final Fantasy themes in tow. There are some pacing issues I'm some parts of an otherwise exhilarating experience. Some of the set pieces are epic AF. 9/10.
