The game was good, but I don't understand why they ship the game the day it is releases (arriving two days later) and not so that it arrives on the day it releases and I can play it with everyone else. I'm about to experience the same thing with another game...

Awesome game but bad motion blur on camera waiting for a patch to lower it or turn it off

Despite being advertised as coming with a bonus steelbook if preordered from Best Buy, my order did not. Nowhere, at any point, was anything about "limited stock" of the steelbook advertised, yet that's what Best Buy's customer service, who can barely string together a sentence of English without a script, claims happened. This feels like it should be illegal. The game itself is perfect in every way, so buy it from some other storefront that doesn't frick over its customers.

I spent hours doing my research as to where to preorder my Final Fantasy 16. After days of looking into it and debating, I decided to make my purchase with Best Buy as they offered an additional special edition Clyve Steel Book Case with your purchase. Well today I received my order but DID NOT recieve my special edition Case. Nowhere in the description did it say they were "sold out" or "no longer available". In fact it was quite the opposite. They flash the pictures in your face and the description includes all the details of the product you're recieving. This is a scammy business tactic and to say Im disppointed is describing it lightly. TAKE CAUTION WHEN PLACING ORDERS WITH BEST BUY...thats my only logical outcome I guess..

The first hour was mostly cinematics. Got to control the character to walk around a little - only where allowed to go, but that was it. Finally the game started and you get to walk around the little "town" and go to shops & stuff. But once you leave, you don't get a choice of where to go. It wasn't like I could go exploring or even choose different destinations, but simply follow the predetermined route through areas. And when fighting everything is just a blur. It was mostly dodging the enemy & watching the meters to see when skills were recharged so that they could be used again.

Pre ordered the game because of the additional steelbook which I never got. When talking to Best Buy associates about it they pretended such bonus did not exist. Funny thing is another guy next to me was complaining about exact same thing! Gaslighting at its best!

Great story, amazing voice acting extremely slow gameplay. I love final fantasy but how slow this game goes really got to me.

Love the game. Did not come with the exclusive best buy steel book game case like it was suppose to though even though I preordered and I was garunteeded it by a supervisor twice before preordering.

First and last time I preorder from Best Buy, no point as they don’t actually include what they say they will (their own steelbook), the game itself is however great so far.

The only reason i peordered this game from best buy was because of the preorder bonus steelbook. When i placed my order, the steelbook preorder came through and was shown to be in process. When i received the game, the steelbook was still under process. I thought no problem, best buy has shipped some preorder bonuses later before, i can wait. A few days later, my order for the steelbook is gone without a trace, no email or cancellation notice. I am never preordering games from best buy ever again. Such deceptive and disgusting tactics. If you cant keep promises, at least be up front about it instead of using sneaky manipulation tactics to get sales

When I placed my order, I was ensured "Get it by: 6/22/2023". This turned out to be a lie because apparently the tracking says my order will be arriving SEVERAL DAYS after.

The product itself was great but the time ot took for it to ship to me was unacceptable. I pre-ordered the product so i expect to come at least the week of

Kinda Disappointed that I did not receive any of the pre order bonuses that I was looking for when they were the main reason I pre ordered, No braveheart sword, no accessories, I see that it was listed for the games in a earlier listing but now I don't see it, now the only way that I can get those items is if I return my game and then buy it again digitally.. retailers are really making it easy to just buy digital collectors editions versus disc based because something always turns up not right

As always. Best Buy does not have pre order steelbooks as advertised. On top of that, not even the pre order digital content was given. No code anywhere. The worst of all is that the game wasn't even available on realese day. Had to pick it up the next day. Very typical service from the company. Makes it dificult to keep buying physical content from them. (I made this pre order THE day pre orders went live on the store)

I preordered Final Fantasy 16 from Best Buy because of the exclusive steel book. Unfortunately after opening it, there was no Best Buy steel book. Inside the Final Fantasy 16 box was the physical copy of the game, the STANDARD Clive Rosfield SteelBox case and the cloth world map of Valisthea. The preorder specified two steelbooks. The Best Buy exclusive and Standard. This will make me think twice before preordering again from Best Buy. Disappointment in the whole preorder process.

Honestly a disappointing Final Fantasy entry. The game feels too linear, while the storyline is good it lacks in depth and exploration. The combat system is overly simplistic. Even getting better weapons just feels more like a task than an adventure. Disappointed especially since this was a PS5 exclusive i expected more
