Great game. Fighting style is similar to FFXIII-3 with 1 player rotating between 3 different styles. Overall story line is immersive and interesting. Side quests are hit and miss but as always, they are necessary to obtain better items.

To Say FF XVI created controversy is an understatement! Mainly because of its departure from traditional based turn combat. The action oriented gameplay is certainly a breath of fresh air

Great graphics and great story. It deviates from traditional Final Fantasy games, so don't expect the typical open world format. It's very linear and combat-focused. Still very fun and worth playing.

Tons of fun with a great story. Great game for players new to the franchise and seasoned players will recognize how it incorporates elements from earlier titles like VI, Tactics, VIII, XII, and VIX.

Final Fantasy XVI is an incredible experience from start to finish. The story is engaging, the combat feels fast and exciting, and the visuals look amazing on PS5. It feels more action-focused than previous entries, but it works really well. Definitely a must-play for any Final Fantasy fan.

It's definitely darker for a Final Fantasy game, but it also means they can get free from Teen rated restrictions. While I'm a bigger fan of traditional JRPGs, they keep closer to a dodge-enabled from the start Kingdom hearts rather than Dark Souls. Which I'm glad, never really liked the Dark Souls formula. Better combat than FF15, though kinda bummed it's a solo experience instead of being able to swap into your companions. As a formally JRPG fan, this still is a great addition to the FF lineup and don't see much to take away from a 5 star rating. I have a PS5, so if you don't, well, now's the time to get use out of it with PS6 stated to be around 2028, get your years of use out of a PS5 now!

One of the best ff game. Story and battle system will keep you on your toes. The game also has some good replay value. The game also features a good gsmeplay to test your combat skills.

This is one of the best Final Fantasy games out there (not counting VII remake) and is a huge step from XV and is shows in the overall quality of the gameplay, character, story and setting. 10/10

Been playing Final Fantasy games since IV. XVI is easily one of the best in the series. Yeah, it doesn't have a traditional party system but the combat, setting, and characters are top notch. Anyone that says the game is too "easy" is obviously playing on story mode and using the 3 accessories to make combat a one button spam fest. Playing in action mode is where it's at. Also game is gorgeous and runs awesome on performance mode. Graphics mode needs to be optimized better but who doesn't wanna play in 60fps? Game is well worth it. Although, on Best Buys end they offered a free steelcase with the pre order but they didn't have it. Next game I'm getting isn't gonna be from Best Buy.

This game is amazing, from everything about it. I’ve seen game reviewer give it a bad score (there idiots and don’t know anything) Some stuff i’ve seen them saying that it’s different or FF fans have been forgotten. All lies there if you really enjoy FF you will love this game. It plays and feels so nice the flow you can get from the combat it truly amazing. It’s one of if not first real time FF combat game but so satisfying to play and it’s a refreshingly feeling. I love turn base and semi as well so at first i wasn’t that interested but after playing the demo i was hooked. All in all if your looking for a solid game that’ll give you a good time this is one to have in your collection.

Amazing game, story is super good, and the game play is great as well. You don’t need to play other final fantasy games to know how to play this one. Definitely recommend checking this out!

Game is epic if you ever played Asura Wrath or Devil May Cry you'll love this game. Story is great good music scores, and the combat is stellar must buy for anyone getting next gen for sure.

Only wish you could customize other characters states. And if it were up to me id add more teammates but the story is amazing and the game play cant be beat.

Very game of thrones like story experience that will keep you engaged. Combat is fun and offers cool eikon abilities. The eikon fights are very cinematic and just good fun. However the RPG elements are a second thought and dont contribute much to the game.

Really enjoying the story. Very engaging and the characters are great. The combat gameplay isn't for everyone and there is a bit of rpg slog around the middle, but I've been hooked.

Great single player game! One of the best Final Fantasy games I have played in a long time. This game will be a huge stepping stone to story games moving forward.

For fans of action RPG. Excellent production value. Developers took time and care to share a wonderful game/story that should be experienced by all. GOY contender of 2023 in my opinion.

A new final fantasy style great story and game play but its not an open world or have the final fantasy old style feeling. But still its one of the best game that you will ever play
