This game has been absolutely phenomenal from start to finish, beautiful combat, sights, characters and story!

Pros: -Incredible, silky smooth action combat -Worldbuilding is great, and there are many opportunities to catch up on the events happening in the game -Visuals are some of the best in the industry -They don't hold back with how dark things can get, which I'm a fan of Cons: -Performance mode could be much better as there is constant stuttering in many locations -Often very long stretches of cutscenes that makes you miss the combat -While combat is great, some enemies feel like damage sponges, and the enemy variety could be better -Dialogue and certain moments can feel cringe/cheesy

Fun game. A little repetitive but I’m about 3 hours into it and so far I like it. It doesn’t beat the new remakes, but still fun.

This game did a great job executing a departure from the typical FF gameplay format. Combat flows smoothly and the special attacks are satisfying to land. While the story does have a bit of trite dialogue and a few lulls, the overarching setting remains engaging. Clive is a likeable protagonist, and the progression of abilities he gets feels rewarding as you advance. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and have started a New Game Plus run as well.

I like the twist on combat! It made for a uniqe Final fantasy combat experience! The story is immersive as well with the twists, turns and surprises. It is a must have!
