This is a strong title in the Final Fantasy series. Despite its gameplay changes, it still is through and through FF. However, the game did not capture me like other titles. The budget was heavily spent in the huge Eikon battles, but the character models and animation in the regular exploration and simpler cut scenes are inconsistently weak. There’s some real high performances and it is diluted by animation that does not meet the intensity. Overall a great game, but it’s hard to not address the inconsistencies of quality

If you’re a fan of the final fantasy series, this is a must own. The story takes depth to a new level with several surprising turns. The open expanse of the world is amazing, but not overwhelming, and follows a more linear path. The combat system is very fun and addicting, easy to learn but a fun challenge to truly master different styles. Without a doubt one of the best games in the series.

Great game. A must play Ps5 exclusive with game of thrones style story and action combat.
