This game is cinematic and amazing. Great storyline and action

I'm an older gamer and I find it amazing that people complain that this isn't open world and no Final Fantasy game has never been open world. This game does a great job explaining the different areas you visit. Combat can be adjusted to your play style This will be at the top of my list for great games graphics are incredible. Just enjoy the game.

An amazing game with its stunning views, story and characters.

So far, the story is excellent. Combat is also a lot of fun, even though I prefer the old turn-based style.

Pros: opening hour of gameplay shows off some cool visuals and gameplay elements with the eikons. The first couple of hours setup an interesting story premise with some defined characters. Lots of side quests. Cons: game has a ton of filler, even the gameplay mechanics feel like filler. Example: when you unlock your mount, you can summon them in specific areas, but you dont automount them. Even though the only thing you can do with the mount is ride it. You have to click extra buttons and watch an animation before riding it. There is a bunch of small stuff like that in the game that just makes interacting with the world tedious. Combat is simple, if you die with no health potions to a boss, you will respawn at the stage of the boss fight you died at with full hp and potions. By midway through the game i felt there were no stakes. Apparently new game plus is supposed to be a more challenging experience, but i dont know why anyone would subject themselves to the game a second time.

Outstanding game with an excellent story along with a great combat system. The beginning can be a bit slow(in terms of combat) but it gets going. Also the dlc adds a ton to the story and makes the overall story so much more satisfying.
