It was a very good game that was pretty good from start to finish.

So, this game has the potential to look amazing, you know, if we weren't limited to playing it on the ultra-budget system that is the PS5. Drops down to 720p to try to keep 60 fps? Are you joking? The best people have come up with is to leave it in graphics mode and then hope your brain adjusts to the trash fps before you get motion sickness from blur. To put this in perspective, this doesn't look remotely close to as good as the FFVII remake. To be clear, it's actually better. It's more advanced. It has more detail. It will look better when you can run it through the right hardware. But, when you put all that into a PS5, the PS5 says: "What? Lol. No no. We can't do this. Let me turn this down to ultra-low settings for you." Could they have put in some menu options for this? Sure. Did they? No. Anyway, the dev team says they're working on some patches for this garbage. Standby and check back in a few months to see if they actually fixed anything. If not, just wait for the pc port so you can play it on some real hardware. Unfortunately, there's no timeline for that.

I enjoyed the game very much, soundtrack is unbelievable one of the best in the series. But gameplay becomes a little repetitive at times. Of your looking for final fantasy it certainly doesn’t feel like it. It’s way more action than actual JRPG in it. If you want more of a traditional Final Fantasy experience, than stick to the older titles or just wait for FF7 rebirth that’s coming out in February.

The game is worth it. Beautiful and fun! Glad to have gotten it.
