You can also use the daily curfew option to schedule when your child can use the device. Enabling Parental Controls does not remove Mature or Adult-rated content from the device. Make sure that your volume is turned up by tapping the volume up button on the side of the tablet, or check through Settings – Display & Sounds. 2. If your speakers still aren't working, try plugging in a set of headphones then unplug them. 3. Soft reboot your tablet by turning it off and on again. If these steps do not work, plug the device to a charger and make sure it's charging>then press and hold the power button for 40 seconds(don't select any option that appears on the screen)>turn the device back on and check.
