The tablet is truly a great tool for my children and this is actually the second one we bought for our children. We love the kids programs on it and the various stuff such as audio book stories for our little ones…. Really nice.

The Amazon Fire 7 Tablet (2022) is a budget-friendly device perfect for basic tasks. Its compact 7-inch display is decent for reading and casual video watching, though the resolution is low. Performance is adequate for simple apps and browsing, but it can feel slow with more demanding tasks. Battery life is reasonable, lasting up to 10 hours. The build quality is basic but sturdy enough for everyday use. It tightly integrates with Amazon's ecosystem, making it easy to access Kindle books, Prime Video, and other Amazon services. While it has limitations, the Fire 7 is a great value for those needing a cheap, portable tablet for media consumption and light use.

Solid, durable, works. No protection for charging or media jack ports though. These ports are entry points for spilled liquids or toddler schmutz to reach and harm the main board - this unit was purchased as a replacement for exactly that problem, after a 3yo sacrificed his previous unit to the CapriSun gods. Upside, main board is simple to access and clean for those qualified to do so or just plain curious.

Its ok durable and price wise. I have a 4 and 2 year old i bought both one, and they throw and drop it it alot and its still good. But only downside to the thing is slow now and the Subscription thing is a little messed up. Other than tht its alright

This has been an awesome device for my grandson, that I turned around and bought 2 more for my other 2 grandkids! It’s Fun for all ages, ours range from 3-7yrs old! I monitor what they are doing and for how long. Especially the Roblox games these kids are into now! They would play it on my phone until my phone was dead and then give it back, I have missed calls and messages. Our family is grateful for the Fire 7 for kids!!

My daughter loves this thing and we exclusively use it for long trips in the car or by plane, only allowing for educational material. She’s surpassed her peers in cognitive milestones with passive learning in addition to good parenting habits, and I attribute that to this thing. She will use new words (advanced for her age) we never taught her because she learns from the tablet and we retroactively practice those with conversation to maintain that new vocabulary as well.

This is the perfect (fairly indestructible) tablet for our 3-year-old son. We use it during travel, and it's just the right size and price for him to be able to handle without us having to worry about it breaking. We linked it up with our Amazon Prime and Disney+ account, and we have all the shows they love.

My 3 year old nephew loves his and has quickly figured out how to use it. It’s quite durable (the case) and the battery is MVP! However, the screen is not so don’t skip on the screen protector. Took it to Geek Squad to see if they could replace the screen and found out they aren’t allowed to work on them at all. It’s a whopping $80.00 just for them to mail it off! Then, you still have to pay for parts and cost to repair. Yet and still, they sell Geek Squad Proection for them. Don’t waste money on that.

It is pretty good tablet. Runs slow at times playing certain games. Can only download about 3 games , due to the memory low. Over all it is durable & if you are only wanting something to watch a few shows or listen to the downloaded music it is great.

Hello Emily! Thank you so much for taking the time to provide a review on your experience with your Fire Tablet! We are constantly improving upon and working to provide the best value and quality for our products and services for our customers. This is our entry level device and does come with the lowest amount of memory and storage of our tablet lineup. You can still ensure that you have the best experience possible with it though with a couple of tips that directly address your concerns. First, if your tablet is running a little slow, you can see if you have apps or games running in the background taking up some of your processing power. You can do this by tapping the Multitask icon in the lower right of the screen and then swiping up the apps you are not using at the moment or swipe all the way over and tap Close All to close out of all running apps. Next, you can increase your storage with this device by purchasing a microSD card up to 1TB in size. This will give you extra space for quite a few different files that will free up your storage. Lastly, if the included Kid's bumper case doesn't protect your tablet well enough and it gets damaged, you can contact Amazon Customer Support directly at 888.280.4331 to explore your options with the included 2 year worry free guarantee that comes with each of our Kids Fire Tablets. I do hope that these tips help to provide extra value and improvement to your experience and we thank you again for your time and feedback Have a fantastic day!
