If you are someone who can't get games often, and want to ensure that the ones you do get will keep you busy for as long as possible - this game would be a great choice. Multiple Playthroughs of different stories - Tons of permutations on how you play the game and the decisions you make. Flex those brain cells and keep yourself busy with a great strategy game.

I am a Fire Emblem fan, I was originally worried about TH only because they seemed to show more emphasis on teaching and rallying up your students rather than the actual combat of the game. Boy was I wrong. The teaching/social aspects are intertwined in a way with your students that really creates a wonderful world and an interesting narrative that as far as I'm concerned, will seem to pay off in a big way. Can't wait to finish it.

Nintendo took everything I hated about previous Fire Emblem titles (namely Radiant Dawn) and developed one of the best modern tactical RPGs. I just recently played through two of the scenarios and I’ll eventually play the third. There isn’t much I can add that hasn’t already been covered by other fans and critics. It’s a solid title by Nintendo/Intelligent Systems.

As someone who has very little experience playing strategy-based games, I was worried that I would have trouble winning the battles and completing the stages. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how simple, fun and immersive the game was. I really liked the flexibility players had when building relationships with the characters, including the teatime mini-game. Overall, I would definitely recommend Three Houses!

The gameplay is also nothing short of phenomenal. The new system veers into artes that consume weapon durability to be performed in battle. Terrain advantages seem more important than ever and the relationship system seems to be back in full force which was one of the most fun mechanics in terms of replay value on Awakening and Fates. As usual this game is a must for every Fire Emblem fan and newcomers alike.

I was a big fan of Fire Emblem Awakening when it came out for the 3Ds but felt some of the other entries that came out soon after were missing something. This game looks and runs great on the switch, even in handheld mode. They added interesting things to the gameplay to provide even more content. I don't seem to care as much about this line up of characters though, but that probably says more about me than the series!

I'm only about 20 hours into this game (I say only as I hear you can easily put 200+ hours in it) and I'm really enjoying it so far. Battling feels mostly the same to past Fire Emblem titles, which some changes (the weapon triangle is gone) and the way you have to explore the monastery every little bit helps break the game up so it's not too much of one thing. I look forward to continuing my journey!

Easily a game you can sink at least a couple hundred hours into just to play all the routes once, Three Houses is a very fun adventure. The characters feel much more significant that more recent entries into the Fire Emblem series, and there’s so much to do in between plot moving battles. The additional options added in New Game+ add replayability and help in avoiding too much drag at the start of a new play through.

This game is like a JRPG and Tactical RPG merged into one. It also has multiple paths to play, so there's always something for everyone. I personally fell in love with the story and characters especially. They're all so charming and captivating in their own way. I would recommend trying it out, it's definitely going to give you hours of content.
