Customers are saying

Customers enjoy Fire Emblem: Three Houses due to its engaging gameplay and rich story. Many players feel the game has great overall performance, top-notch voice acting, and plenty of replay value. Some players find the higher difficulty levels extremely hard, and a few think some of the maps are repetitive and the game is not fast-paced. Overall, the game seems to be well-received.

I only played a couple hours and decided it wasn’t for me. Really liked the 3DS installments but couldn’t get into this one. Seems more like a life sim but with teaching than your typical FE game. However, I have heard that the last half of this ~150 hour game is a lot more like old FE games. Just not gonna invest that kind of time in a game I’m not interested in.

Biggest disappointment is that my character can not be customized as much as previous games. Also less voice interaction with the character that I play.

The game was very difficult to immerse myself in. The interface, dialogue, and plot were all very clunky. In the end, I put it away after about 4 hours. It's hard to say precisely why I couldn't get engaged with the title. I think I was hoping for something more like a traditional RPG experience. When I discovered it clearly was not that, there really wasn't anything of substance to keep my interest.

Not my favorite Switch game, but fans of the series will enjoy. Lots to do in the monastery.

Long slog, classic mode vs casual mode meh

It's not a bad game. Though Casual mode MUST be set as default. The game must force you to do several steps of work for it to play the classic mode, in where, your characters die permanently. After 15 hours, where I felt confident I chose casual mode, the game was on classic. Horrible. Sold the game, done playing forever.

Worst fire emblem game ever. I don’t want to be forced to wander around and teach people. This is fire emblem! I want to fight and bond during battles and during battles only. By now I should’ve done 5-10 battles not 2! Gets 2 stars because graphics are good and I like that you can change camera angles
