Three Houses is a perfect example of how to keep a franchise feeling new but still keep the core experience intact. This is one of the better offerings in the genre and encourage anyone on the fence to watch longer reviews elsewhere as the only concern is that isome elements may be too deep for some peoples liking.

    Great CE for value

The game itself is excellent, but I personally feel unnecessarily long and slow. However, the upside to this is that there's loads of content to keep you playing for a long time. The CE was picked up without box damage, and as for how CEs go, this was a very solid pickup. The hardcover art book is very nice.

It's your standard fire emblem game. You choose between 3 schools this time around. There isn't a children aspect this time, which I actually lived from awakening. Overall, it's a great game.

The game is good, it detracts some element from the Fire Emblem series such as the weapon triangle which reduced the element of danger/surprise but does not detract from the fun factor of the game. The swag is ok but the UK version's Pin Badge set is better than a calendar in my opinion.

The art book alone made the special edition worth it the quality and size was surprising and beautiful. The only thing I wish this edition had was the original game case. The steel book is great on the shelf but not having the original game case was a miss.

It may not mean much coming from a fan of the franchise but Ive had such a good time playing and cant put it down. This edition comes with a great art book, its not too big but its better than earlier Nintendo collectors editions. The music is great too

If you can get the Seasons of Warfare Edition its definitely worth the price, if you are a fan of Fire Emblem games you already know how the games play but if you never have played a Fire Emblem before they are turn based strategy RPG.

I bought this for my wife, who is very much into JRPG. She loves this collection so much that she keeps it on display. I also watched her play and I could tell that she was really enjoying it.

This package could’ve been much more promising, but the price is a bit steep. Other than that, the game is decent for what it’s worth.

How do I simplify this, it is still fire emblem with characters and grind included. It has a time management system akin to the atelier series and pretends to branch the game direction based on your dialogue options. That's a lie they try to sell you. Virtually all of your dialogue options are without consequence, as you gain favor in support ranks must faster through often coincidental battle placements and constant instruction. The support dialogues are also(for all but the more eccentric characters) very uninspired and cliche. The three houses represent the three classes you can teach, but it makes no difference seeing as long as your character has high enough stats(that he naturally gains quickly) he can recruit absolutely anyone AND everyone outside of his house regardless. The only time your dialogue matters is for a huge faction shift halfway through the game, which the method of doing so is made so obtuse, unless you were trying to consistently butter up one character in the beginning, especially since there's a 66% chance you'll never interact with her across all playthroughs. Mechanically the game isn't hard. Classic mode is the only artificial difficulty and map design is bland, open, and repetitive ad nauseum. I auto-battled the grind so hard because of how boring the battles were. Even the story missions are on preset maps. The only difficult fight in the game is the final boss and only because of how high the hp is and how many mid-bosses slog and crowd the path to it. Get this game on sale before Nintendo tries to sell you an "authentic" Fire Emblem experience(read:copy-and-paste).

This feels like the first big jump the series has taken since the days on the Gamecube and Wii. Awesome battle mechanics mixed with interesting school social setups make for a fun game. Best FE game in years and years.

Nice set, a bit overpriced for what it's worth. Calendar is already useless after a year.

Kinda has some lite persona type game play such a time management and school environment mixed into the gameplay but have only put in 30 hrs since purchase and have yet to fully experience all of the content yet.

Genre is generally not particularly beginner friendly, but Fire Emblem three houses does a great job of teaching you the basics, and it has a fun anime-esque aesthetic that's super engaging.

Fanboy since the first game, this can offer challenge as well as replay value. At minimum probably 100 hours more realistically 130-150 to do EVERYTHING. Worth the money.

Played Fire Emblem for a while. The last few on the 3ds were not up to snuff and this is honestly a return to form. I feel like Im playing fire emblem again.
