    Definitely worth it for Fire Emblem fans. The extra goodies (art book, metal game case, CD, etc) are worth the extra price. Even the box it comes in is very high quality and pleasant to look at. If you're reading this, you already know the game is worth getting and are probably deciding on special edition vs normal. It goes without saying but the game is fantastic. Great characters, good writing and story, great artwork. Highly recommended

    While this entry has quite a lot of extra mechanics, the main game has a very forgiving difficulty so that anyone can jump into it. If you don't want to get into the complicated stuff, you can just muscle through the story, or if you enjoy customizing your units and interacting with all the characters, you can spend countless hours playing this. Play how you want. And the special edition of the game? Very nice.
