Customers are saying

Customers recognize the engaging gameplay and enjoyable content as major strengths of Fire Emblem Warriors, frequently praising the action and strategic elements. However, some players found the character variety limited and the voice acting underwhelming. While the game's difficulty was noted as a point of contention, with some finding it too easy and others too challenging, the overall experience was generally positive.

This game is pretty decent but not great. It’s fun in small doses but that’s it. Not much replay value. This game is not comfortable to play on the Switch. I’ll only play it docked with the pro controller.

Another of the Dynasty Warrior-like games. It's no Hyrule Warriors, but it tries its best. Cast of characters is decent, but the story needs some work.

Thought it was tradition fire emblem. Didn't look it up. Turned out to be dynasty warriors+anime. Not my thing (hence 3 stars) but if that sounds appealing to you then by all means might be a 5

Not really impressed with this game content. Kind of seems basic and lacking of in game depth. Picked it up and put it down pretty quickly

After really enjoying Hyrule Warriors, I decided to give this a try, and boy was I disappointed. The core concept is the same as Hyrule Warriors, but this game lacks content. There isn't much to unlock, no adventure mode, not nearly as many playable characters, and way to much dialog. They talk so much in this game. I want to play a game, not read text for hours.

This game has not been able to hold my attention for longer than 30 minutes or so... I like Fire Emblem alot, and I don't mind Warriors games, but this mix hasn't really worked for me. Plus the story is straight trash!!!

Warriors game with Fire Emblem Characters

This is a simple hack and slash game using the fire emblem characters - not a real fire emblem game. Be prepared for an incredibly boring storyline that repeats itself every level (but it's different this time! It's the same thing happening with a new character!) and simple slashing through tons of 1 hit kill mobs. Tons of frame rate issues, awkward controls, and the voices repeating themselves every 10 seconds is maddening. Sold the game to a friend's 10 year old (who likes it) and will wait for a true Fire Emblem game to come out.

Generic hack-and-slash rpg. Complete waste of time and money. I was excited to see a Fire Emblem game for the switch that my wife wanted to purchase. I haven't played video games in years but I was looking forward to exploring a new installment of one of my favorite game series. But when I started playing it quickly became apparent that this is NOT a Fire Emblem game.

Best Hack and Slash for nintendo yet

This game is what Hyrule Warriors should have been. The game mechanics are very much improved and runs smoothly on the switch in portable mode. Only downside I see is the character selection from Fire Emblem franchise wasnt the best overall but that doesn't affect the game overall.

Hack & Slash Button Mashing Excitement

There isn't a whole lot of thought needed for this game. That's part of the reason I love it! Hack and slash enemies, unleash special attacks, choose from a huge roster of characters! I love that the game carries over those small touches from Fire Emblem. If you don;t know the characters from the Fire Emblem series, it really doesn't matter. This game is more of an homage than anything.

    Interesting Mash-up

Fire Emblem Warriors is a game that is similar in execution as Hyrule Warriors was for the WiiU and 3DS. This time, it combines the gameplay mechanics of the Warriors games with the character template and aesthetic of Fire Emblem, and does so well. The game is fast and frenetic and is great...if you are a Fire Emblem or Warriors fan. If not, this game may not be for you.
