It takes Hyrule Warriors, which I really enjoyed, and makes it significantly better. The 2 player co-op mode is even more fun than just playing single player! My wife had never played a Warriors game or a Fire Emblem game and she's really enjoying it too. My 7 year old daughter and my 5 year old son are also loving this game

Great game for the switch Got it for my son's birthday (12) and he loves it. Fairly simple gameplay but exciting pushing back the enemy. Slight strategy envolved but easy to jump right in.

This game pays tribute to the 3ds FE games very well.

If you liked hyrule warriors, you’ll like this game.

A fun hack n slash that takes strategy only on switch

It combines the best of both franchises: Fire Emblem and Warriors! It has a lot of content and it's pretty fun to try the different characters. Plus it can be played with another person. Totally recommended!

It is a Dynasty Warriors game at its heart, even with the Fire Emblem mechanics such as the Weapon Triangle and Map Deployment screen. However, the game is simple enough with that slight taste of complexity that makes it not a bore, whether for a 5 hour gaming session or a 30 minute spur of fun.

This game plays more like a hack and slash than a turn based Fire Emblem game although it implements alot of elements from the series. The graphics are a nice cel shaded art style. The story appears to pull from the series which is a fun little nostalgic ride if you have played previous games. If not, you'll be fine still. The gameplay itself is just button mashing. It's fun absolutely destroying enemies. Fun to shut off your brain and just go wale on some enemies. I recommend for fans of Fire Emblem or the Warriors Orochi series which this is a spin off of.

I still play this game to this day! It is super fun and me and my wife both love the fire emblem series. To us this feels better and more fun than Hyrule Warriors. It's nice you can control the CPUs and command them to battle, defend or pair up with another warrior. So many elements they put into this game based on the fire emblem series. It's nice to play with two players. The DLC is worth it and provides so much more content. I just wish they will some day bring Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters in. That would be awesome.

So fun, quite silly. Do wish there were fewer sword users, Corrin definitely should have used a dragonstone instead to balance things out!

Fire Emblem Warriors takes Omega Force's perfected Warriors-crafted gameplay and puts a Fire Emblem skin on top of it. While I don't think it's at the scale or quality of Hyrule Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors holds its own by implementing tons of mechanics from the Fire Emblem series while keeping it fresh and inventive with Warriors combat. It's a perfect mix that complements the Fire Emblem series and should make it a must-play for fans while also remaining welcoming to newcomers for both Fire Emblem and the Warriors style of gameplay.

In going with the Warriors franchise you get much of the same game as Dynasty Warriors/Hyrule Warriors. The story is new for Fire Emblem, but was a tad shorter then expected. Still worth picking up this game if your a fan of the franchise.

At first I was not going to get this game but after hearing my friends talk about it made me change my mind, and boy I’m having a blast playing the game. The story is ehh, but battle Mechanics are great, would of live a better story.

If you like Dynasty Warriors games, this one is worth grabbing. If you're a fan of Fire Emblem Fates and Awakening then this one is a must grab. If you're a fan of older Fire Emblem games you may not find too much to enjoy here.

So if you like Fire Emblem games with their stories and Dynasty warriors series at all you are in for a treat with this fun mix of characters and story in a warriors style game. It is fun to be able to change quickly between characters on the fly and do team up moves. Different challenge levels and fits several play styles and the upgrading system of weapons and characters helps change experience of the game. Enjoy this title for hours of playtime.
