Quick and easy installation. I was also able to link this to Samsung Smartthings. Easily check your battery level in the app. Picked up a total of 3 detectors. You can't go wrong.

It was easy to set up and stall. The AA batteries Included is a plus. Wireless feature is definitely I liked. I am not that of a handy person. I got 10 of these and was able to install myself. The size was almost same as the old one and fitted without affecting the ceiling paint. Can recommend this product.

We feel much better knowing we have new smoke detectors linked to our Ring monitoring system.

Bhought this to work with the Ring alarm pro. So far it works great. The Ring alarm will detect it as 2 separate sensors, one for fire and CO.

This alarm activated quickly and is an amazing alarm if you have the ring alarm system it Saved my house from a kitchen fire purchase this alarm it is amazing

I replaced my expensive/aging house alarm system with the Ring Alarm Hub and so I was in the market to replace my existing Smoke detectors that were hard wired to the house alarm. I purchased (3) of these Smoke/CO alarms as it is the only model Ring currently supports; as of Jan. 2020. Overall I am very impressed with both the technology as well as the price. Installation was a breeze as all you need to do is insert the batteries and push a button...after that it pairs itself to the Ring Alarm hub. Even though these units are battery operated (no wires) they offer a wireless feature that allows them to communicate with each other so if one unit detects a fire or CO they will all sound the alarm. If you don't have a Ring Alarm but do have a Smartthings Hub then you are in luck as this also works with Smartthings. Only one or the other though as you cannot connect a zwave device to 2 different hubs at the same time.

Works well so far (no actual fires or carbon monoxide to detect yet, but the test button works, so -- fingers crossed). It was easy to install. It's a decent price for a combination smoke/CO detector, so it's a good deal even if you don't plan to link it to a Ring system. One thing I like about First Alert products compared to Kidde is the way they designed the base. Once you attach the detector to the base, you can rotate the detector up to a little more than 90 degrees so that it "lines up" any way you want it to -- which, if you have just a bit of OCD (don't we all?), is appealing. Kidde gives you a way to line up the device too, but they do it with arrows on the base, so if you don't get the base mounted just right you're out of luck. I would recommend it to others and would buy it again if I needed another.

I didn't have a smoke alarm downstairs which is against code and generally a bad idea. Thus adding a smart alarm to my mostly smart home for sub 50 bucks was an easy call. Easy to install and connect to Ring. If you're familiar with Ring products this isn't any different to connect. Do note that the CO2 and smoke alarm show up separately in the app. There is no way around this as they are independently monitoring for different reasons. Also, like other ring devices it monitors the battery. So no more beeps or questions if it's working!

The First Alert smoke and Carbon Dioxide detector was easy to install, and did not cause any damage to my ceiling when they were installed! I love that it can be connected to multiple smart devices and that you can sync all of the alarms together! The battery life is also great and knowing that you don't have constantly change the batteries! These give me comfort that if one goes off, they all do, and I do not have to worry about only one going off and us not hearing it if we sleep on a different floor, versus one's that only sound one alarm at a time!

Simple set up with SmartThings smart home hub. Alerts (usually when one of the kids burns something on the stove) show up on the phone and via text message whenever the alarm goes off. Battery life seems to be good. ONLY downside is that it is not a wired device, but with Z-Wave, all three go off when one goes off.

If you’re a Ring security user, these specific models can connect to the Ring app as a device. This is really why we got these specific smoke alarms. If an alarm is triggered you’ll be notified even if you aren’t home. This is great in case you have pets and a fire starts! One thing to note is these are battery operated, and there is no way to hardwire them. But they will last a long time even with the batteries! Highly recommended.

Easy to install and offers smoke and carbon monoxide detection. We replaced all of our smoke detectors with this First Alert model. Very easy to install within minutes, as the mounting brackets come with different spacings, and we were able to swap out the old mounting brackets with the included ones.

I bought three of these and was able to get them up and running easily. Paired with SmartThings no problem. SmartThings only notes whether alarms are clear or not and battery status. I personally think battery status alone is pretty excellent. Very happy with these.

Reasonably priced. Easy to install. Both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors combined. The furnace repair man said I need a carbon monoxide detector so this was the one I chose. A better price than some other stores.

Happy with this purchase. Purchased three and were easy to install. I like that it detects smoke and carbon monoxide. The batteries lasted about 9-10 months. I believe the only way to use it with ring is if you have the ring base platform.

Loved the simple installation, the fact that it was wireless and that the batteries only need to be replaced about once a year. It worked out great and integrated into our ring connected home alarm system.

Easy to install, and seamlessly integrates with the Ring Alarm System. Able to monitor from within the Ring app at any time. With both Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detection, this would be a wonderful addition to a home network.
