It's a goodnight product to keep track of the overall activity in a day . But not something that will identify the exact activity u r doing . Worth it for someone who is getting started with their fitness regime .

I do not care for the band fastener - it gets caught on things and pops off. Also difficult to line up the tabs to attach it, using one hand. Display is impossible to read outdoors unless you are in the shade.

For people on the go this tracker is awesome and makes it super easy to track. Only down side is you have to turn it off when your driving or at your desk at work so that the steps it is tracking isn't skewed.

Great to keep up with your daily activity, but used a ton of data to the point we had to uninstall the app from our phone! If you have unlimited data it would not be an issue! The Fitbit worked well though.

It's ok. I love the Fitbit app, and all of the functions. However, I have caught it not counting steps. Also, it doesn't catch when I wake up at night, it says I never woke up. Wish it was more consistent.

This fitbit is good the electronic part of it works wonderfully. I gave 3 stars because the band is garbage. I have had 3 bands come apart at the base. It has all happened with in a 3 month period.

I wanted to buy this watch to help me reach my daily step goal. But i just never got it to link with my phone i had a lot of trouble getting it to turn on in the first place. I had to return it.

I've been using the Alta for about a week now and I plan on returning it. It doesn't accurately track your sleep like it claims (you must log your sleep manually) and the touch screen is not very responsive. It sometimes takes for 4 or 5 "taps" before the screen comes on. Also disappointed with battery life. I can get about 2 days out of it but I was expecting 4 or 5 days based on some other models I looked at. I plan on exchanging for the charge HR instead.

The only thing I dislike is the charger. It broke very easily and I was not able to return it because it was past 15 days. Best Buy doesn't sale the Chargers, so I have to order one from Amazon.

I seem to have issues with getting the touch screen to activate. it seems I have to tap pretty hard to get the screen to activate. that would be my only issue, otherwise, the FitBit is great!

I bought this for a friend on the East Coast. I have the Alta and I love it! But she cannot connect this one to her phone. If she is unable to connect, I will have to return it....

It's still a solid Fitbit. The only thing that is different, I had a charge Hr before, is that it doesn't track flights of stairs anymore. Which I liked. Good Fitbit. Would purchase again.

It does not tell you exact steps unless you look at your phone. Does not measure stairs. My phone is more accurate (iphone). Looks and fits well, but functionally, I've had better.

I originally purchased the HR Fitbit...had such a sensitivity to the radiation (burned my skin) so I exchanged it for this one. I was hoping that not having the LED light like the HR would reduce the sensitivity I was having. I can only wear it for 4-6 hours max and I start feeling the irritation approximately 30 minutes to an hour after I begin to wear it. I just use it a couple of times a week, not how I wanted to use it. Disappointing for sure! I wish products with this type technology were safer to use.

It's a very simple fitness tracker. It is compatible with your phone, but as far as display it doesn't offer much unless you're looking at your phone to access the data.

I recently bought this for my wife who wanted to get into the fitness wearable technology venue, as added motivation in her workout routine. The functions of this are severely limited, and the heartbeat and steps functions are completely inaccurate! She would go to cross-fit, work out for an hour, and the thing had her heart rate even the whole time. On top of that, it would fail to count some of her steps, and also would add false steps when she would simply swing her arm. My advice? Buy an I-Watch/Samsung Watch.

You can use to monitor and help keep your goals on your wrist. Not the best to monitor your steps. Just swing your wrist and voila, you've walked another 100 steps...

I bought this for my husband but it was so hard to fasten that we returned it. He had me try to close it but I could only push down on the snaps while it was off.

Good watch over all. I didn't feel that it kept up with my steps very well and I hate that it didn't turn on sometimes when I would double tap the screen to come on

I heard so many good things about the Fitbit and received one for mother's day. I upgraded the one I received to the Alta. I thought it would be easier to see, receive messages from my cell and I could change bands, that was the best part. The band that comes with the Alta is hard to put on your wrist and will come off if it isn't properly attached. The screen is hard to see especially outdoors. If anything upgrade to the Fitbit HR. I would not recommend this product to my friends or family.
