nice, looks like a bracelet, however it only give readings as 3k for example, my charge used to give the actual number of steps, calories, miles etc. It helped to know exact numbers so you know how much more you needed to do. Also charge was easier to see numbers, and easier to put on. This is tricky to put on, But I love the reminders it gives when you have not moved recently. overall I like it.

I purchased this device after realizing that it gave me everything I would need without spending hundreds on an Apple Watch. It allows you to customize the watch face and what displays on the device to suit your needs. It also helps me to track my sleep and reminds me when I need to move. Overall a great addition to the FitBit line.

I like this watch. I wish it was a little better with everyday life. The screen gets banged up. I've had mine a few weeks and it has marks and a few chips as well. I will recommend getting the extra warranty from Best Buy. Took mine back a few days after buying it to get the extra coverage from Best Buy. Because of the condition the will not allow me to purchase do to the condition. I understand that. Not Best Buys fault. It was mine for not getting it as soon as I got this. The only other thing is the way it looks onto your wrist. I've had it fall off a few times. I try to remember not to hang my arm out the window in fear of it coming undone. If I had to do it over, I would go a different route. I don't think it would be a FitBit. I think for this price it should be a little more life friendly. I have tried the change and charged HR. HR stunk. It hurts from the HR part. It sticks out. The charge was ok. Had that for a few days that went to the Alta. You can see who's calling and the start of a text message. I wish it was a little more water proof. Just remember to take it off when doing dishes and bathing. But all and all the Alta was my favorite over the Charge and Charge HR.

This is a great fitness tracker. Battery life is awesome at 5 to 7 days. Seems very acurate.

This is my third Fitbit. I have had the One (which I kept washing) and the Charge (which kept coming apart or just failing and needing to be replaced). This Alta is great. It looks nicer than the Charge. It can take water better than the One. Sometimes it's hard to wake up the display by tapping it. But the quick view works well. You can raise your wrist to look at it and it comes on. Syncs with my phone easily.

Very elegant, suitable for all kind of clothes. Battery life is 7 day, used daily basis.

I purchased this product because of the size and I liked the fact that it was waterproof. I still use my Charge HR because it keeps track of more activities such as stairs and Heart rate, however, just after I bought this item, they came out with the Alta HR. If I would have known this item was going to be coming out so soon after I bought this one, I would have waited to compare the technologies.

Cool gadget to track how many steps you take while you have it on. If you have been sitting in one place for too long with it on, it vibrates as a friendly reminder to get up and move. You receive an email every month with a monthly report. It shows calories burned, how many steps you took, and even convert those steps into mileage. You even receive badges for every milestone you meet. Really cool device.

Alta has a great battery life and very sleek on your hand. I love its notifications!

I purchased this to replace my Garmin Vivosmart. I like the ability to change bands and the simple display. I wish the alarm did not shut off after the 2nd snooze but I like that the more critical alerts (calls, texts, and calendars) are all that push to the band (all notifications pushed to my Garmin; ESPN alert, Snapchat, email, everything....). Display can easily scratch so I bought screen protectors.

I love it! I like that it not only keeps up with my steps but also my sleep as well!

I bought this for my 12 yr old daughter. She likes the Fitbit, but complains about the strap being hard to take apart. I will just up grade her Fitbit.

The Alta is great if you are the type of person that doesn't like to wear a watch and wants to have something light and reliable to track your fitness. I had the HR version but it died on me and I picked up this version and it is lighter, the battery lasts longer, and I love the OLED screen which is very bright and durable. Haven't put a scratch on it yet. I highly recommend this version of Fitbit!
