Love the Fitbit. This really got me moving. My wife got me the charge last year for my B-day and when I saw this I upgraded and love the get up move reminders along with the option to switch out the band colors. Works and tracks perfectly.

I enjoy my firbit, though I'm not a runner or anything. I'd give it 5 stars, but the band is really not very good. First ban d broke, and when its replacement broke, I lost my original fitbit, prompting this purchase.

This Fitbit is a great gift for a lady who keeps up with her steps. Looks casual. It does not have all the bells and whistles but is a good for a walker. One negative, the band is a little awkward to snap Shut. It's not like a watch band.

I BOUGHT THIS FITBIT FOR MY NIECE FOR HER BIRTHDAY AND SEE LOVES IT. I BOUGHT ONE FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND MY WALKING TRULY INCREASED, SO SHE WANTED ONE ALSO. SHE HAS TRULY INCREASED HER DAILY WALKING AND IS LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT.

This was a gift requested by my wife, and she loves it. Sometimes she is pleased with how many steps she has in a day, and other times she is challenged to do more. Just want she wanted to encourage exercise.

Only problem is it wont track when you are at a store because when you are holding the shopping cart, your arm is not swinging. Didn't realize until after getting home from what we thought was good couple miles that didnt count.

Purchased to help me track my activity but I felt it duplicated what my smartwatch could already do plus more. Ended up returning it. If you don't own a smart watch, I would have kept it.

The Fitbit is a bit difficult to get on, especially the first time. It's easy to set up and use with the app. Sometimes it seems not to realize you are active if your arms aren't moving much, like on a bike at the gym.

Prior to purchasing the Fitbit Alta, I had 2 jawbone up3 trackers, hr band for both snapped after approximately 6 months of use, and the bands cannot be replaced. This Fitbit allows for a new band, in the event of the band breaking.

I love my Alta but miss the ability of wearing it in a clip, like I could with my Fitbit One. Sometimes I want to wear a regular wristwatch. I wish the SS band wasn't so expensive.

I loved my third Fit-it and did utilize all of the options available e.g. steps, calories burned, sleep patterns, etc. The charging was easy with the battery lasting a long period of time. Unfortunately... due to the design of the band... One afternoon I realized the fitbit was gone from my wrist and and disappeared... I am a active teacher and must say that I am not physically abusive, but... this is now my second unit that I have experienced the same issue with the band. I will not purchase a fourth unit.

I like this tracker. Especially the feature which notifies me if I haven't completed at least 250 steps in an hour. Something my HR Fitbit does not have. The only issue I've had is I catch the band on something and it unfastens.

Very nice product except the band. Was told it could slip off and it did one day scuffing the face. Also for some reason it is not tracking my sleep....even before it slipped off my wrist. Otherwise it is very comfortable to wear.

I was looking for a Christmas gift for my mother in law who has just got into the fitness world. I decided to gift her a fitbit so she can track steps, physical activities, and so on.... so far I got to say that she loves it!

love this to help me keep walking more by following my steps and when you are close to your goal it reminds you how many steps you need to get to your goal, only downside is band hard to get snapped,other bands are out there

The Alta does just enough-sleep tracker, calorie counter, water tracker, etc. Not huge like some of the FItbit choices. If you're looking for a simple tracker, with an easy to use app this is the Alta is a really good option.

I was worried about getting my daughter something for Christmas to help her lose weight, but she loves it! She says it is the best gift I have ever gotten her and she loves that she can see her texts and has caller ID on it.

It's a lot of fun I got one for my wife for Mother's Day and she got me one for Father's Day we do weekly challenges with each other and other members of our family who have a fit bit plus it's a great way to get yourself moving

I got this for my wife as an upgrade from an older fitbit. She loves the new one as she is able to read texts and she likes when it notifies her when she has a call or text.

wife got this new Fitbit to replace a previous model, and she is happy with this new model! her favorite added feature from the previous model is that she can see her text messages, without having to wear a "clunky" smartwatch.
