Purchased this Fitbit for my wife since she's a nurse and she absolutely loves it. Easy to read screen, and all the extras it can do. Plus the tap function works great! Need to purchase one for myself next!

Fitbit Alta does all I need plus some, including handy text and phone call alerts! The associated app is also awesome, and I'm able to network to the other Fitbit users for challenges, etc.

The fitbit is awesome in tracking my friend's activities to help encourage her to keep up the good work! It also tracks my heart rate and I love the fact that it tells me when I have an incoming text.

I move from an HR to this one after my HR stopped working. I like this one better, don't miss the HR option. Band could be better. Very hard to get it fastened. A watch type band would be better

If you are looking for a fitbit that isn't too bulky that counts your steps and shows texts/calls, this is your fitbit! I didn't feel like I needed it for the heart rate so this was a great fit for me.

Always heard great things about FitBits and finally decided to get one. Glad I did! It's super lightweight so you don't even feel like you have it on. The screen is also really simple to read and use.

I have purchased many fitbits before and this one takes the cake. I love the screen on it as well as all the options. I bought 3 of these after my original purchase for family members. Best Fitbit there is

After a couple of issues, I've decided that Fitbit doesn't like to work correctly when the battery is low. Will charge sooner... STILL EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR SOMEONE WITH ARTHRITIS TO SNAP THE BAND ON...

We're sedentary 65-year-olds who wanted a fitness tracker mainly to count our steps, but with the capability to do more if we should want to in the future, and this Fitbit was perfect for our needs.

I love this watch as it's light weight and easy to read in normal light. Difficult in sunlight. It's easy to sync with my smart phone and I like the reminders to get off my butt and take a few steps.

I have to restart my Bluetooth almost every time to get this to sync with the app. That's a little frustrating. However, once it does sync I like all the info that transfers over such as time slept, steps walked, etc. I don't use this for the calorie counting - I log on MyFitness Pal instead but this does sync with that app which is convenient. The band and Fitbit in general is a bit chunky. Just wish it was a little slimmer and flatter against my wrist. I do like that it vibrates when I get a text or call, but the message scrolls so quickly (and is small!) that it's hard to read.

I like the Fitbit, but I hate the band. It is hard to put on and get a tight lock on the band. I am afraid I am going to lose my Fitbit due to the clasp.

very nice. charging port locks on and is easy to use compared to other fitbits I have purchased. Really nice that it has changeable bands that you can change the color to match what you are wearing.

Like anyone else with these, I use it for fitness and health. It's a great product that won't let you down. Only downside is that the band wears out after a few months of everyday use.

Bought this as an upgrade for my wife from her previous Fitbit and she loves it. It's easier to sync with her phone (previous models had known issues) and it's a little less intrusive on her wrist.

I had the Fitbit Flex and lost it! I was going to get another one but changed my mind and got the Alta! I love it!!! It reminds me to get up and move and I can see incoming calls and text! It's great!!!

Fitbit Alta initially attractive; liked thinner profile, colour and replaceable band - compared to FITBIT Charge which I had before. Also liked the band compared to earlier problems with Charge band separation from main housing. However, messaging on Alta occurred too fast and too small to be readable with no ability to change. Also band's clasp was VERY difficult to close.

I've enjoyed this fitbit more that any other I've had. The reminder to move is the best. I work in an office, and often get so busy I don't realize how much time has passed. FitBit helps me get moving!

My wife loved my Charge 2 and I felt the Alta would be the best fit for her. She has enjoyed the motivation that wearing it 24/7 provides! It's also surprisingly held up to her rough handling.
