Device has all the needs that one would want in a fitness tracker. I call this the entry level because I don't think that the Flex has adequate information for displaying your fitness. You do lose the heart rate tracking that the Charge 2 has but the automated fitness identification is really great.

This is the second activity tracker I've tried and I love it. I like having an hourly reminder if I haven't taken enough steps that hour. Really keeps me moving more. My other one also couldn't stay connected to my phone so I could see full info in the app. No problems with the fitbit staying connected.

Purchased for my wife to upgrade from the FitBit Flex she was currently using. The new display provides more info and is easier to read. The charging cable connects to the Alta without having to remove it from the wrist band - nice feature.

Got this tracker for my gf. She wanted a HR tracker also, but I failed to read the features. She likes it anyway. She didn't want the larger Charge HR. It's also a bit inaccurate with its step count, but gives you a decent idea how you're doing.

I have been enjoying my Fitbit Alta since I purchased it. The display is great, and I like that it is not too bulky on my wrist. The only thing I would improve is the battery life. I have already recommended this product to other people.

I love my Fitbit. The Alta was the right price for me at the time. It is a great tool and motivator. I have gone from a couch potato to a mover. Becoming aware of how bad my sleep pattern is has made me pursue yoga and other activities that definitely help to relax me and give me a true rest.

We purchased this for our 8 year old daughter as a "Healthy Incentive and motivator" and she absolutely LOVES IT! The FitBit has been a great start and it motivates her to be active, she is also very competitive so this is PERFECT! She is constantly focused on her step count. WE LOVE IT!

it really gets me walking more, love getting the way to go comments from fitbit but I had to buy a usb extender to charge as the one that comes with is too short if you charge it using the wall socket. Customer service at Best buy order the usb extender on Monday and it was in my mailbox on Thursday.

Bought the plum color. I have arthritic hands and find the "push in" band clasp hard to close. Once it's on, I have no issues. I've only had this gadget two weeks, so far, so good. It doesn't always track "activity" minutes, like if I'm lifting weights which is basically standing still.

My granddaughter asked for a fitbit for Christmas. I did not know what it was but the store clerk was very helpful in explaining the product and its value to keeping fit. Then we found it in plum which is her favorite color. : ) Perfect gift!!! Thank you Best Buy!

I really do love my FitBit Alta and if I could change any one thing it would be the wristband and how hard it is to attach to my arm. As time goes on, the band attachment is getting easier but it took me on half hour to put it on the first time. That is the only thing I would change if I could.

FitBit, In my opinion, has the best social interface and this fitness band doesnt leave anyone wanting for the price. It's solid, feels nice, and the color is quite nice (not super generic purple). Set it up and get walking! My family has a competition with the App on activity. It's super fun.

I really like Fitbit in general, this was for my wife and she is loving it so far. And Fitbit customer service is the BEST I have ever seen. I've had a Charge and 2 Altas and twice have had to exchange them for different COSMETIC within the first year and they had no issues helping me out.

I got the FitBit Alta as a requested birthday gift and have had so much fun with it. I'm older, mildly athletic and use it for walking and general activity. The best part is having it synched to my iphone and being able to read my text messages without sneaking my phone out of my desk drawer!

This was a gift for my wife. The most difficult thinig about the fitbit was trying to get it on her wrist by snapping the pegs into the holding holes. Was easier to do them first and the unhook the wristband from one side of the readout piece and snap it in place after it was around her wrist.

I got this product for a friend, as a gift, after reading endless reviews online and talking to the store associates. She loved it and has been wearing it everyday since then! My brother in law also has the blaze and he loves it

Love this product!! A step up from the lower fitbit as you can review steps all day. I have really intensified my walking with this. the battery is a bit of a pain as has to be charged every 5 days but I put it in my phone to remind me. also can do at work when I am sitting there anyhow!!!

I call it my little motivator. I work in a office where I am sitting 7/8 hours and my Fitbit has been helping be get moving a little more during work hours. And I love the little reward I get once I complete my 10k steps. I can honestly say Fitbit has really helped me be a bit more active.

This is a great Fitbit for both my wife and teenage daughter. I bought it for one and then the other really wanted one too. They are now both really enjoying it and using it. The application that comes with it is easy to use and helps to create the challenge to keep working at goals.

Bought this device for my wife because she liked the style. However, after comparing its tracking results to apps on her phone this doesn't get the distance traveled or steps counted correct. It is consistently off by about 33%.
