Love the Alta model. Previously I had charge HR. The Alta model reminds me hourly to move 250 steps. It also vibrates and displays caller when I am receiving a call on my Bluetooth enabled iPhone. This also works for text messages - I see the sender and then beginning of the message.

bought it for my grand daughter she really loves it except the band comes undone all the time she is constantly picking it up off the floor. she replaced it with a new band that stays secured so by the time you buy a new band and the price of the fit bit it is a little expensive!!

Typically I can't stand anything on my wrist. I'm not a watch person but the Alta really allows for everything I need in a watch. And some things only a smart watch can do (like alerting texts and phone calls). It's thin and light so I don't have that bulkiness of a typical watch

I bought this for my mom as I had the same one. But then mine fell off my wrist and I lost it! So my mom returned hers and got the fit bit charge 2 as it has a clasp that keeps the watch on your wrist like an ordinary watch.

My wife loves her fitbit alta. She hasn't had a problem with it since I got it for her a month ago and she loves being able to see her messages without having to pull out her phone.

This item measures steps, calories, screen phone calls and texts, and includes an alarm. The band is also interchangeable with a number of nice options to choose from. However, average life span is only 2 years since this is my 3rd one in 5 years.

Looks stylish and the band is interchangeable, which is nice for someone like myself who enjoys changing out colors and bands. It does count the steps most of the time. I don't like that it didn't also add stairs to the app with the alta only if you sign in online.

I have been a fitbit user for almost 3 years. I previously used the One but it broke and thought id upgrade to the Alta. it is not as accurate. I have already had it replaced once. The new one is better, but still not as accurate.

I bought this fitness tracker for my daughter and she loves it. Although the app only allows 13 yrs and older, there are many kids wearing (and wanting) these trackers both for fun and exercise. I am surprised how many people in her class want one too. It also serves as a watch for her.

I love my Fitbit Alta. I dont know why I waited so long to get one. After reading the reviews, decided this was the one for me. The only downfall in the beginning, is the connecting the band around my wrist. The holes are very tight, but after using it for some time they loosened up.

The Alta is a great lightweight tracker that has style and utility. The text message/call notification is a great addition. The only feature that it's missing is a step counter. The band can be difficult to secure at times. Once you get used to it it's a nice wearable technology.

I find it difficult to close this so wear it loose and fit it over my hand. It's a good thing I have small hands and wrists. It is easy to charge and simple to get the basics but I have not been able to sync to my smartphone even though the phone says I have installed the app.

Thuu i s was my second fitbit and it worked well, until it didn’t. It lasted about 2 years and then the battery just wouldn’t charge. Was fine while it lasted but I upgraded to a newer model fitbit with more features.

This is a great activity tracker for beginner/intermediate fitness and day-to-day activity tracking. The app is very useful, especially for tracking food, water and sleep. However, it only counts calories and not macros. Would not recommend for higher/intense levels of training.

The Fitbit is very good. I love the color. It is very difficult even after all this time to get it on. The prongs do not go easily into the punched holes. I have to take it off every night to shower and it is an unconvince to have to spend so much time punching it through.

Didnt really think I would care much for it, but my daughter had one, and she would show me cool stuff it monitored so I went out and got one too. I will say the first day i hit the 10000 steps ..was fun and it does encourage you to be more conscientous of your movement

The wrist band is extremely difficult to put on - trying to push pins in little holes on your wrist is difficult and hurts with the pressure needed. Of course for $30 more I can purchase a traditional wrist band.

I love this Fitbit Alta. I had a Fitbit one which I liked but this one I like even better. The bands a super easy to change. It has a clock and it also has an alarm which surprising wakes me up. I love that. I wish it counted steps but that's ok the other stuff makes up for it.

I already loved the fitbit products, but when I upgraded to this newer model I was excited. I haven't had any problems with it so far and I wear it everyday, all day. I love the option to change the band, which were a big problem with the first set of fitbit's. I recommend.

I bought this fitbit as an upgrade form my flex fitbit. I really enjoy the Alta because it does so much automatically. I also feel that it is more comfortable on my wrist. I think it is a great fitbit and the battery is great. I love the text alerts and the alerts to keep moving.
