I have become obsessed with my Fitbit. It's a great product for the price!! While occasionally the phone app freezes up the actual Fitbit band works perfectly. Would highly recommend this for someone just starting out on tracking steps and/or a weight loss plan.

So far, I'm loving my new Fitbit Alta. I like knowing when text messages and phone calls are coming in. I like knowing that I have that extra push with the 250 steps before the hour if I haven't moved much.

I previously had the HR. I love the Alta! It's much more comfortable to wear daily and to sleep in, being able to see my text/calls is wonderful and the fact that it's water resistant halls tremendously!

She got it, but still has not took it out the package. Brand new with extra watch bands - with different colors. Oh well, maybe soon! I got me a Fitbit and I use it to track my daily steps. Very cool and like having a personal fitness trainer.

I really enjoy the functionality of the Alta . It shows phone calls and text messages and reminders from my phone. Also has replaced my watch. I am disappointed in the waterproof issues unclear if I can wear in the shower and isn't suitable for swimming.

Tracker looks good and functions well. The band can be taken off quite easily if you prefer a different style. It is somewhat difficult to double tap the screen to get to the data but it's not too bad. Overall a great purchase for those in need of a pedometer.

I like the Alta's slim look and it works great but it doesn't pick up on workouts with weights like my HR did so it doesn't give me the accuracy I'm looking for in my workout I may switch back to the HR.

I bought this for my daughter and it’s great I have one I bought else where and I have problems with it I also like the fact that Best Buy backs the stuff they sell and you can bring back if there is a problem with out a hassle

Bought an Alta for my 14 year old daughter and 10 year old son. But, it's hard to snap on the wrist. My son had a hard time with it. Exchanged his for a Fit Bit Charge with the buckle watch strap. My daughter has no problem putting the Alta on her wrist.

I replaced my Jawbone, because the strap had broken and there was no customer support. Happier with the sync times and love the little display with updates on my daily progress, little prods to get moving again and the email/text notifications option.

First time using activity tracker does what I need. The only drawback when I tap it to get the time to appear. I usually have to tap it multiple times and then it skips over the time and I then have to go they the whole menu to get back to the time.

It's a great product but for starters it's difficult to clip the wristband. It seems as nobody in the design team tried to put it on themselves. It would be nice to have the floor count feature as well as heart rate at additional price and revision also.

I purchased this for my daughter. It was great, then it wouldn't work properly after 3 weeks. I went to Best Buy with it, but since I didn't buy the protection plan they referred me to the fitbit website. I went online & did a live chat. I did everything I was told to do & it didn't work. He told me they would send a new one to us. When I asked where to mail the one we had, he said "recycle it!" I am assuming they are cheaply made, but the customer service was great. Would I recommend the product...I don't know. So I will say no just because of it not working properly after 3 weeks. I guess this product won't last. BUY the protection plan from Best Buy. It wasn't offered to me when I purchased it.

Got this for my wife since she has been using a fit bit for some time. She works in medical field so getting hold of her was never easy. Now she can see when I'm calling or when I sent her a message with out having her phone ringer on. Great job Fit Bit!!

Coming from the original, this Fitbit is a worthy upgrade. I'd check them out in person first because I wasn't aware of the size... surprised Fitbit hasn't got these smaller yet. Otherwise great product and seems a lot better built than the original

I like the Alta because I can change the bands to different styles. It took awhile to get used to turning on the Alta to get the readings of what I did. There is no button to see your readings, so it is basically done by tapping on Alta or wrist movement.

Seemed, and still seems, like a good product, but I didn't want to wear it 24/7, and found it quite difficult to get it on and off; the band is very difficult to attached/detach. So I decided not to keep it, and brought it back to the store.

I originally had the Fitbit Flex and loved it, I found the Alta on sale on Black Friday and decided to upgrade! I like the slim look of the Alta and that it displays the information on the band, unlike the Flex where you have to view it in the app.

The Alta is really helpful in staying within your goals. I like the sleep and step tracker best as these are areas I struggle with. I also set little reminders to move since I have an office job and when I concentrate I sit in one position far too long.

After she surprised me with one, I Bought this for my wife as an upgrade to her flex and She LOVES it!! We both Love the layout, and unlike my charge, I am able to switch bands if I want. If you're looking for an activity tracker, ALTA is the answer.
