Bought this for... Well... Fitness tracking. It does just that and perhaps the SMS notification are useful but I honestly couldn't care less. This watch is not for the social, its for the ones that would like to focus on their daily activities.

Bought for my wife. She loves wearing it and using it. She uses it as a guide and does not take the results as exact, but it has helped her get motivated to be active and she checks it regularly.

I absolutely love my Alta! It's thin design and removable band allow me to keep it clean and not have to worry about the band wearing out. I had two Charges before this and wore through them each in less than a year. This design is so much better!

I bought this for my wife, and she really likes it but does miss some of the features that my Charge 2 has. The wristband on the Charge 2 is also much easier to put on. Still, this product is a great deal ($100 on sale) and I would recommend it.

Every Thanksgiving the grandchildren and I go to Best Buy and purchase their Christmas gifts. This way, the grandchildren, get what they would like to have for Christmas and then I've done Christmas shopping. AND ALL OF US HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME.

My husband bought me this FitBit for Christmas. He knew that I didn't like anything big or bulky on my wrist and thought this would be a good fit. It was perfect! I really like how it will sync with the app on my phone and I can set goals.

Loved the color. Purchased a small, but needed a large. Returned because of size. Did not repurchase because the large was not on sale. Didn't understand why the same item, different size was not offered at the same price. Will upgrade to Fitbit HR.

The Fitbit app is user friendly and the Alta seems to count steps accurately. My only complaint is that the band can be difficult to put on. Getting the hang of it now after 3 weeks of use. Comfortable fit and not too bulky. Overall, very happy.

I really wanted a Fitbit and did research on which one would be best for me..I thought the Alta would be but its not. I should have saved my money and just went with the Fitbit flex. It will do the same thing as the Alta the only thing extra the Alta will do is show you your text and call notifications as long as you have your Bluetooth on. It's nice that it has a clock so I don't have to wear a watch while at work along with the Fitbit but I would definitely get either the flex or one that does a little more depending on your needs though.

This is a good product. It let's you customize how many steps you want in a day as well as how much activity. It's light weight. I love that it has a clock and also tells the day and date. My only complaint would be that it's hard to put on.

Bought this for my Kids and they have yet to sit down! They have challenges with each other and friends as to who can take the most steps in a week or day and they are having a blast. The fitbit is nice looking fits them well and pretty durable.

This newest FitBit tracker does everything I need it to. You can customize the display through the app. as well. Touch screen can be a bit picky from time to time - sometimes you really have to beat it to show stats, but it hasn't failed me yet!

This is a great FitBit if you don't need one that's super advanced. It is simple, yet it includes everything you would need. I would definitely recommend this to someone that needs a noncomplex smartwatch and pedometer.

I purchased this after having a Fitbit flex. I like the added features with the time and the connectivity to my phone to display incoming calls and texts. The only dislike is still the battery life. Other trackers last longer between charges.

My wife loves her fitbit. Got it for her for mothers day along with the Aria scale. The only problem she has with it, is it doesn't show the entire text message and in some cases doesn't show the message at all. Other than that she loves it.

Bought this as a gift, and it was a huge hit. Was told just having the tracker on your wrist motivates you. Liked the color. For the limited functionality it still seems over priced to me, but I guess the whole wearable market is like that.

Bought this for my 10 year old son for christmas...kinda stinks that he has to be certain age to set up an account to use it. There really was not an appropriate option for his age that would have worked better. Like the product though.

I recently updated my fitbit due to my other one being outdated. The fitbit keeps me motivated to keep walking and moving and the vibration reminder also helps. Without it I feel fat and lazy. With it I feel healthy and active.

This was a birthday gift for my nine-year-old son. He loves everything about it except for the wristband. It's really difficult to snap into place. He has yet to be able to do it on his own. And I have a really hard time with it too.

I bought this for my 7 yr old daughter to help her to start thinking about fitness and tracking her progress. She loves it! Plus it was the only one of the nicer ones that fit her wrist. Great purchase. Durable and water resistant.
