Previously had Fitbit HR but had problems with it syncing and wanted a sleeker look for work. Very happy with Alta so far - especially like that you can see battery level on device.

Works as advertised, my granddaughter is using as she starts a running program to establish exercise as a habit. Very inspiring and gives her running data as well as heart rate

I really like the look! This is a no frills version. It does what you need without a lot of extras. I wish it could log my Pilates workouts, but I haven't figured that out yet!

Purchased as a gift for my daughter, so far she is enjoying it. Loves comparing with others at the end of the day, because of this alone she is motivated to be more active!

I purchased this item as a gift. She is happy with it. The ability to replace the band is a plus. It even survived an accidental trip through the washing machine.

Love the Alta as it has more features than the original fit bit. Steps, distance, clock with day and date etc. I wish the battery life would be a little longer than approx. 3-4 days.

I had been wearing thr Fitbit Flex and was happy with it but wanted to be able to check my progress right away- I got the Alta and it was just what I needed!! Very pleased!!

Other than not staying on when swinging a golf club.....it has performed remarkably well and the interactive online uploads is very helpful for tracking sleep and exercise activity

I bought this for my mom. It was a pain to set up. The fitbit people are not very helpful. It does to do everything it's supposed to. Works great. Get the protection plan though.

Both functional and easy to use. She was able to get it set up and start counting steps right away. The size works great for a young girl and of course she likes the color.

It is great and I like the call notification feature. No heart rate sensor. The charger clip broke it is very sensitive so be careful when charging the device. Overall it is great.

I had a fitbit before that went on my hip but broke it in the washer (kept forgetting to take it off). This is a much better alternative. The interchangeable bands are so cute.

Perfect for my activity. I do not need to know my heart rate and some of the tracking that more expensive fitness trackers have. It was perfect for my budget and my needs.

Works great with my IPhone 6S. I had a Fitbit charge before and this is much better since it shows the date and I can receive text messages on it. Would definitely recommend.

Great for my swimming every day. Only drawback is I would like my swimming distance to be my goal and not the steps. Either I don't know how to change it or it can't be done.

Wanted a thinner band and this fits that description. Like that it also lets me know when I am receiving a text or phone call. The distance when we walk seems to be off a little.

Gave to my wife for Mother's Day and she loves it! Loves everything about it..easy to put on, loves the display and likes that she can change out bands!! Great purchase!
