This is much improved from the Flex. The display is nice to have. The downside is that because of the design it's far less waterproof! I bought the protection plan .

This was a gift from my son for my birthday. I love it but also wished it did my heart rate too...I love how it lets you know when you have a message and phone calls.

The Alta is a great product, the bands that come with it however are not. I went ahead and purchased a different band.

The alerts it sends reminds me to get up and move! The best part is the text and call alerts so I'm not constantly having to stop and look at my phone while I'm the go!

A gift for my wife and she likes it very much. She did not have one so she enjoys trying reach her 10K goal everyday. She's satisfied with the options and capabilities.

I love this tracker, but it is sometimes difficult to put in my wrist. The numbers are easy to read which is a big plus for me. It gives me encouragement to exercise.

I received mine 3 days ago and LOVE it! I switched from a Fitbit One to the Alta. I ordered both a large and small (I ended up keeping the small). I had a very easy set up with the Alta. It appears to be fairly accurate tracking steps. My advice is read the product information prior to buying--THIS DOES NOT DO HEART RATE OR STAIRS and clearly states it. The band is difficult at first to close, but does get easier. If questions FITBIT has great customer service. I like mine and would recommend it.

I bought this for our daughter and she really likes it. The color s great and I would buy the same one for myself. I can't take a picture because I gave it for a gift.

The Fitbit Alta does more than just track your exercise. It's a great motivator! It encourages you, challenge you and congratulates you. A must have. Worth the money.

This product is great for keeping time, silent alarm and keeping you updated on your fitness goals,etc., However, I had a smartwatch prior to this product and I got used to the great color text notifications - that were easy to read! The battery life on the Fitbit is GREAT as compared to a smartwatch, as I can go for about 4 days without charging (unlike the Smartwach which had to be charged nightly.

Bought this for a friend along with mine. It helps us stay motivated to walk and run more in order to stay in shape. Counts step accurately and couldn't be happier!

Received as a gift from the hubby, it does the job that it's intended to do. My favorite part is that I can switch the band to match business or casual clothing.

My daughter has had clip-on fit bits before but wanted the watch as she is an elite volleyball player and all the running she does is better suited for a watch.

Good Fitbit for basic operation and day to day life. Metal edge is improvement to save damage to side of unit like past models. Does not have advanced features.

Love the Alta over the other previous models. I've previously had two. You can receive texts (as long as phone is within range)/reminders to move while wearing it.

I love it! I exercise about three times a week, it's not too bulky and there are a lot of options to change the band. Perfect for those that are more feminine.

Bought this for myself as a way to keep track of how active I am throughout the day. The bracelet itself is a little hard to snap on but overall, pretty good.
