    This is the third Fitbit we have bought for my wife, after she initially had a Flex and then another Flex after the first one broke. Turns out the Alta is no better. While the watch and text messaging features were nice adds, the Alta has not accurately tracked steps and the battery life was worse than advertised. We are in the process of trying to return it as we speak. By the way, Fitbit's customer service is awful. We have had the Alta a little more than 30 days, so we're outside of Best Buy's return policy. So far Fitbit has been unwilling to accept our return (they only want to help us troubleshoot) and it seems like they don't stand by their products. Save yourself a big hassle and find a different product.
