I have used my Fitbit for several months. The accuracy of the steps taken is a little so-so. I like the text notification feature. Would definitely recommend doing your research prior to purchasing.

I bought the FitBit based on name reputation only. However, after experiencing the product I was not impressed with the functionality or the look when compared to similarly priced fitness trackers

This is an awesome fitness and sleep tracker when it works. Mine worked fine for a month or so and now will not sync with my phone. I've followed all of the troubleshooting tips to no avail.

I love my fitbit alta, but it is not accurate. It misses lots of steps. As long as I know this and set my goal at an appropriate level, then it is motivating and I enjoy tracking my acitivity.

Good looks but ended up returning. Did not have continuous heart rate monitoring. Ultimately ended up returning for Apple Watch ($100 more, on sale for $250). Just wasn't what she was looking for.

I bought this with high expectations on really keeping track of my steps. I don't think that it is fully accurate. It's a great concept and I really do like it. I have mixed feelings about it.

The alta notifies me of texts and sometimes calls. The message preview is unreliable and only a considerable amount of very intentional and persistent tapping will turn off the silent alarm.

This was my 4th Fitbit. I graduated from the original Fitbit - 5 stars, went through 2 Fitbit HRs - 4 stars (one was returned defective) and decided it would be more ladylike to wear a purple banded Alta. It worked fine although I did miss the pulse/heart monitoring. BUT, I lost it. More than once. The wristband is the culprit. It's hard to fasten and easy to come apart. Luckily I found it the first couple of times it fell off. Sadly, I seemed to have now lost it permanently. Might have to consider a different brand.

This product was slightly disappointing. It ended up malfunctioning and had to be sent back for replacement because it wouldn’t charge with the supplied charger.

This product would not be able to be programmed, I think it was looking for a bluethooh scale but we didn't have one, and I will not buy one just to program this divice

I'm very happy with the Fitbit Alta however, after 6 months both the charging clip and the band broke. Thankfully, I purchased at BestBuy and they were very helpful in replacing.

perfect unit for the first few months - after a few months the charge doesnt hold on any of the fitbit units - so if you buy one get the replacement plan

I really like the concept and seems like a very sturdy product the problem I had was that I had an older iPhone so I could not use it it only compatible to the new iPhones

This fitbit is small and cute but the screen was too small for my mom to read anything on this watch. Had to return it and get her a bigger screen. She liked the plum color though.

Overall is ok, they support different languages not just English so that's cool, but only thing I don't like is the button design is hard to put on every time after shower.

The tracker was fine for awhile but then would start only staying active for three days at a time and needed to be rebooted.

From the first day of purchase, had problems getting this Fitbit to display metrics. Then, it wouldn't sync with my phone several times a week. Within a month, it wouldn't sync at all. Because it was out of the 15 day return policy, Best Buy offered no help or solution. In addition, I had trouble every day putting this Fitbit on. The way it clasps makes it extremely difficult to put on yourself.

I wish i would have done a little more research before i spent money on this item. I dont feel that it is 100%. I use it but think i will buy this type of item again.

Flex 1 stopped working and needed a replacement. This worked well except for sleeping. Would not track sleeping as band would come out of sleep mode if you moved.
