If you want to be fit, you don't really need this product...just your own motivation. True she doesn't know it's full functionality, but there was not much explanation given when we purchased it nor in the writtenateris provides

hard to clasp it on

Not what I expected

Average battery life is 2-3 days with most notifications turned off. I do not feel it tracks steps very well as it reads too many arm movements. It also does not track steps if your arms are stationary.

Like tying a wrench to your wrist

The hard part of the Alta is constantly hitting my wrist bone. Wish I would have been able to try it before I dished out the $140 They need to make something softer and easier to wear

Time keeps slowing down so that it's not accurate. Very frustrating when my kid is using it to stay on time. Pro is it gets her moving-but a pedometer would have the same affect.

haven't used the fitbit
